On Monday, August 26th, Mr.
lOdwin F. Deieke was honored by the Huntloy Boy Scouts for his donation of $1000 to the tix>op. The money was uied by tlie troop to purchase an equipment trailer.

FFA Bicycle Safety Week Sept 9th - Uth
On tho week of September 8-14. tho Huntley FFA will .';poiisor their annual Bicycle Safety Week. On the morniinp of this week the FFA will announce the winners in the Bicycle Safety Poster Contest held the week of September 3-6.
On Wednesday durinfr the school day, the McHenry County Sheriff's Department will give a bicycle safe¬ ty program at student assemblies.
At 9 o'clock, Saturday morning, the FFA will hold a bike check at the grade school play ground. In the afternoon the FFA will have a Bicy¬ cle Rodeo with several bicycle skill events. In order to ride in the rodoo, all bikes must pass the safety check in tho morning. The FFA wdll also give away a bicycle donated by Heineman Hardware.
All parents should encourage their children to participate in the weeks activities. Parenlts are also Invited to come watch their children par- ticq)ate in the rodeo and bike chedc.
Police Report
Assist to McHenry Co. — This call represented an auto accident, the one vehicle was Jamaged and in a field, the other car had tc&en of fand later was picked up in town and towed to a garage.
The Huntley police dept. aided the Illinois St^o Police dept. in trying to locate a driver who was turning arricades over with his car.
A burglar alanm ell which proved to be false.
A disturbance In one of the park¬ ing lots in town was easify handled, 8 or 10 subjects dispersed readily.
Assisted the Huntley Rescue Squad who had hurt his knee and was taken to the hospital.
Possible break-in, aftCT investi¬ gating the area, the call proved false.
Another poe59>le Iweak-in, upon driving at the scene the HunHey police dept. found notfiiQg amiss, one subject was iiotik;ed in the area and is being investigated.

The monthly meeting of the Hunt¬ ley Park Board was held last Wed¬ nesday night in the administration building at Deieke Perk.
The meeting was called to order by President Parisek at 8 pm. Roll call was taken, Badkig Cbnmbaian- er Ream absent. Minutes fnom the last regular meedi^ and two other special meeting were read and atp- proved by unaninious votes. Tlie treasurer's report was then read and approved.
