Senior Citizens from al krf Mc¬ Henry County gathered Saturday at the Huntley Congregational Cburch for a Valentino Party. Mrs. Mae Chesak, Helen Marlowe and Lucille Thurow planned the pro-am which was enj(>yed by all. Rose Kutz¬ ner of Union played some memor¬
able melodies on tli© piano, the Girl Scouts sang and the ohurch Bell Ringers entertained all followed by group singing. Oake and coffee were served following the regular program and Mr. Walter Burmeister and George Adams then showed film on Tornado's and Union Spe¬ cial.

On February 6, the County Coiai- cil of tbe Amerioan Legion Auxiliary held its montihly meeting at the Amerocan Legion Post Home in Huntley. This was a county pot luck dinner meeting.
Approximately eighty persons at¬ tended, among whom was Mrs. El¬ aine Miwphy, lst Vice President of the Department of Illinois. Next year she wall be the president of the AuxiUary of the state of Illinois. Also   present   were   Carrie   Petri,
