Kurt Ba,stion, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Basiiaii, 16501 Marengo Road has bean chosen the 1974-75 Himtley High School winner of the Sdns of the American Revolution good citizenship medal. After nom¬ inations were made by tht senior class, Kurt w;as chosen S.A.R. wia- n-Jr li»y vote of the high school fa¬ culty. The award is based upon tht qualities of dependability, coopera¬ tion, k>adership ard patriotism.
Kurt served as class treasurer during his sophiwiore year. This year he is a student council mem- tiear, vice-president of the National Honor Sodety, and vioe-preskient cf tlve Genman Club. Kurt wffl en¬ ter the Unversity ol Uttnois next fall to study ceramic en^neering.
The S.A.R. award will be present¬ ed to Kurt next monUi at the Hi#i S.hool awards af.sombly.
GS Banquet
The Hunt's^,' Girl Scouts, of the Hokona Neighborhood held their annual Spring Mother-Father-Dau- cliter Banquet, Tuesday, April 7th at 6:30 p.m. This year the pot-luck ?upper was held at the Mso-engo Cc.nmunity High Sdiool b the vUilt;-purpasc room.
The tables were decorated with a sprirg theme. Each intfividual trop made place cards for those attcndincr - tho card'3 were take- home gifts for the parents.
The ?p<:)nsor of Girl Scouts in Huntley, the First Congregational! Church of Huntley, was represented at the banquet by Mr. and Mtc Pbi!i:p Plane.
The pirh who had earned "Cook¬ ies 75" patches for having sold over sixty boxes of cookies were presented their awards at the ban¬ quet. The girl scouti who received this award are Karla Kamphausen, Cr>stal Rcbnrts, Laurie Schneider, Cindy Veath, Ilene Skytte, Karen Kamphausen, Jodi WiUie, Cathy Al¬ len, Kijn Ziller, Madelyn Miller, Kim Kearns, Regina Seller, Andrea Manning, Natalie Freund, and Laurie Resh.
Outstanding entertainment for the evening was provided by the Ma¬ rengo High School Swing Choir. This group of about twenty sang a program of popular and show tur.os which was enjoyed by every¬ one of the over two hundred in at¬ tendance. Emco-e for the evening was Mr. Joseph Manning.
The girls in the HuiAley troops did not receive badges at the ban¬ quet as plans have been made to award the badges at an Opeo House scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th at the Congregational ChuPCh in Humtley. The public will be wel- ' me to attend this evening pro- :  am.

April 1, 1975, 10:00 a.m. Police received a repont that while a lady parked her auto at a village church perS|-|n(s) unknown had dor.e dam¬ age to her antenna.
April 1, 1975, 11:57 a.m. Police responded to the call of a man posdbly with a gun in the area of a local residence. Police search¬ ed the area and after receiving all the infonnation it is believed to be a misunderstanding. The identity of the individual was learned and is now known t^ police.
April 2, 1975, 12:12 a.m. Police on patrol observed a door open to a local busincK. After checking the bialding tha owner was called and it is believed the door was accidentally left unlocked and it came ^^pen.
April 5, 1975, 10:17 p.m. Mc¬ Henry Conuty Police requeted the Huntley Squad to assist in a man hunt fcr two men who had escaped an 111. State Trooper. The offioer assisted until the search was oalled off and it was reported that the identity of the men wxr^ known ard warrants  would be   issued.
April 6, 1975, 2:40 a.m. Police responded to the call of an aocident on S. Union. Read with the neport of injuries. The officer arrived and aded the victims until the McHenry Oomity Sheriff's D^t. airived and took over the scene.
April 7, 1975, 8:00 pjn. Voiioe went to the sceae of an aocictent hwtdiving an auto which had gone off the roadway. No damage to the vehicle was reported, however there was minor damage to private pro¬ perty.
April 7, 1975, 9:30 p.m. Police responded to iht- report of an acci¬ dent on Marjngo Rd. It was re¬ ported that a McHenry County Squad was involved and there were injuries. Tfae officer stoci3 l?y assist, ing the Huntley Rescue Squad and d'li-ccting traffic until the scene was taken over by the Sheriff's department.
April 11, 1975, Police responded to tlie call that th£'Pe had been a * burglary to a residence and the suspects had just left. Police ob¬ tained the license number of the vehicle and the message was sent out to local agencies. Huntley To Get Two Doctors Temporarily
Huntley, which does not have any physicians will perhap.^ have 2 doctors in the near future ... at Ippst temperairily.
Dr. Marvin Sibmann a-d Dr. Milo M'ohael. the two docto-s who were inloined from p"a<-ticin? m-^i- cine within 15 miles of the MeHen- ry Medical G-oup uiti.til Ju'y 1, 1975 because of a contract that they had siened with that group in Oct. of 1972, plan to open a tempnrairy office in Huntley, which is beyond this 15 mile limit.
A 'Stay of the injunction bad al¬ lowed the doctors to practice in Crystal Lake until a week ago and now the court has ruled that this must cease. Therefore the doctors plan to open am office in Huntley.
According to the report the doc¬ tors signed a contract when they were hired by the McHenry Medi¬ cal group not to practice medicine within 15 miles of the group for 18 montbs after leaving the group.
On July 1, 1975 they will be free to resume practice where ever tbey wish.

The Hurt'.ey Lions helped defiray some cf the cests for the Irc'l youth.

Also to irduct 2 new members to the Hunt- Icy Club, Mr. Vem.on (Bud) Ewert, and Mr. Jerry Obenauf. On April 23 the Huntley Lions wiU be spe¬ cial guests of the Algonquin Lions Club for their Annual Pa-k Festi¬ val. There will be no meeting April 22, May 13 is (he date set for the tour of the Curtis Candy Breeding Facilities. This is the Agriculture night and members wishing to in¬ vite a farmer please do so and let Lion Weber or Lion Chuck know. In other business $25.00 was given to the Boy Scouts, discusaon of the Chiciken Barbeque and vacation for two projects.

She continued that this repre^rted an increase of 25 pints over last year. Mrs. Robertshaw attributed the inopsase to the fsct that many y«h schoolers gave this year. Wilh'pm Eisenmenger with 191, Paul Lohneis with 189 votes an4 Leonard Ackman with 159 vote« were elected lo the Village Boeid last Tuesday, April 15th. Mary Lou Hardy was electedl Village Clerk receiving 237 votes. In all 283 votes were cast
Art Wicke received 125 votes. Richard Cole received 61 votes and Robert Lange got 53 votes fof Trustee. Wayne Petersen received 1 write in vote for Trustee. Norma Lindsay and Robt. Frank received one write in vote each for Village Qerk.
PARK
A total of 302 votes were cast in the Park Board Election last Tuesday, April 16th. Winners fon the six year term werie John M. Tures with 221 votes and William Ruth with 192 votes. Pad Mercer received 145 and Steven Goehl re¬ ceived 1 write n vote.
The winner of the two year term was Frank Parisek with 189 votes. Gordon Diedrick received 89 votes. There was one spoiled ballot in this election.
SCHOOL
Barbara Simpson and Daniel ZQ- ier were re-elected n District 158 ia the election held last Satorday. April 12th. Mrs. Simpson received 121 and Mr. Ziller recdved 155 votes. RaymcMid Cde who's name also appeared on the ballot received 91 votes.

In the college election, Ender Harvard, received 91 votes and en  of  Crystal  Lake  received votes.
