The regulftf meeting of the Board of Education of School District No. 138 was held in the High School Building on May 10, 1971, at 7:45 P.M.
Upon roll call the following ans¬ wered present, Mr. Jirik, Mr. Bein, Mr. Michelsen and Mr. Stading.
Miss Mackaben, Mr. Adams and Mr. Brandwein absent.
I— A motion made by Mr. Bein and 2nd by Mr. Michelsen to ap¬ prove of the minutes as read. Motion carried 4 yeas & 0 nays.

The Huntley High School Ir. Sr. Prinm and Banquet was held last FWday, May 7. at the Villa Olfva Country Club in Elgin. The Prom and Banquet were held in tbe Napoleon room between 6:30 P.M. and 1:00 P.M.
The Banquet started at 6:30 P.M. The meal consisted of salad, rolls, baked potatoes, buttered corn, mast Sirloin of Beef and for dessert rtainbow sherbet.
Followbig the dinner, the Prophecy was read by Diane Ungs, followed by the Class will read by Karen Bloedorn.
At 9:30 P.M., the Prom and dancing started. The music was once a£aln fnmUied by the Star Tones. This years Queen's Court consisted of Oie

The Khia's Court conatsted of the followliiir beys: Len Borhart, John Hutsler, Rick Master, Gary Downen, and Dan Fruia At 11:M P.M., the Coronation waa held. The King, Lmi Borhart, was uowued by tha 1970 Prtom Khig, Al«n Haff^iiamp. The Qneen, Janet SpradUn, wa« crowned by the 1970 Pram Queen. Linda Kodi.

Postal Rate increase
Postmaster Richard R. Micbel¬ sen said today that increases in most postage rates will take effect May 16 as the new United States Postal Service begins its task of achieving self sufficiency as re¬ quired by the Postal Reorganization Act.
Mr. Michelsen no<ed that general postage rates have not been in- rceased since 1967 when Cwigress passed what was to become its final POSTAL RATES
