Huntley American Legion and Auxiliary Joint Instalation
On ainday evening, July 15, new officers of the Huntley Ani«ican Legion Post No. 673, as weU as new officers ot the HunUey Auxiliary Unit were installed-
Commander Robert Schultz opened ISio meeting with the salute to the colors, the singing of the National Anthem, prayer by Tom Bjom and the Preamble to the Constitution of the American Lejron. Commander Schultz then turned the gavel over to the Auxiliary President, Lois Hammond in order that the Auxil¬ iary could proceed with the installa¬ tion of its new rrfficexs.
Mrs. Angle Powell of Wheaton, Past llth Distrct Presdent, was n- stallinp officer for the auxiUary. This year's officers are as follows:
President, May Chesak, 1st Vice President; Vera Re-smussen, 2nd Vice Pi-e.sident; Elsio Jordi, secretary; Violet Jurs, treasurer; Marilyn Eck. man, historian; Lola Mauslhak cha¬ plain; Sherry Bohlin, Sgt. at Arms; Hedwig I^eonard, Asst. Sgt. at Arms, Mable Schultz.

School Registration
R?(!:ist-at1on together with pay¬ ment of book fees and insurance for grade school children of Huntley District No. 158 will be held on August 14th. High school will be registered the following day, Aug¬ ust 15th.
Hours for registration are 9 to 12 A.M. and 1 to 4 P.M. at the hijrh school office.
Book rental for kindergarten is $6.00, wbile grades 1 thru 12 is $10.00.
School insurance is available for
a charge of $3.00 per student for
.grades Kindergarten through Sixth
(Jradc and $4.50 per student for
grades Seven through Twelfth.

Third Hole In One At Pinecrest
Betty Valdez of Woodstock had a hole in one on 15 hole, 157 yards par three at Pinecrest Golf Course. She hit a five wood to make the shot. This is the third hole in one hit at the Huntley Golf Course. It was witnssed by Cindy K^l.
