Storm Causes Many Lakes In Basements
Who is responsible if the heavy rains oause the storm sewers to prove inadequate to take care of tlie Mtia water-aad It ends up mak¬ ing lakes in resident's yards and floods their basements causing damage to their a;>pliances and family room furniture as well as their furnaces and itKlcor outdoor carpets.
This was a question asked by Mrs. Cathy Campbell of Oxford Lane in Crystal Lake, who has, she said, 9% inches of rain water in her basement
