The annual Bkie and Gokl Ban¬ quet was held Thursday, Fehruaay 21st in the Soci«d HeU of the Ist Oongregaticn Chunch in HiMtley, The theme of the 6lst Anatversary of Scouting was Mardi Gnas. guests, a special awajxl was present¬ ed to Vemoo Brunschon for his many years of service-to Soouting. Following a pot luck dinner, a- wards were presented to Scouts fw various adhievements. The enter- tainrment for the evening w^ Mr. Thomas McKiay. a magician from Woodstock, Mfw MdKay presented a magic show whidi included audi¬ ence participiation.

The Huntiey Police Chirf rwninds i-esideitts that Manoh 1st is the deadline for purchasing and display¬ ing vehicle stickers on the night hand side of the front window in > the Village of HunOey. The Chief stated thst this ordinance will 'oe enforced and that sp=t checks will be made. There is a fine and p«i. aity for not displaying this sticker. Residents may purchase these stick¬ ers at the Village Hall from 8:30 - 12:30 Tuesday thru Saturday.
Rep. Wadeli To Speak Against RTA

Mr. Ron Stroupe, a member of the Village Beard and candidate fcr State Rep¬ resentatives, will be presei^ aft the meeting to d'iscuss the pros of the RTA. Mrs. Mary Stroupe stated that h«^r hi'shand h-ped that many Huntley citizens will attend the MarcH 7lh meeting at 7:30 p.m, and that tbis will take the place of an open meeting on the RTA in Huntley.

The Hcboes are working cttligeot- ly to present a unique fun fillel evening of errtertainment and gour¬ met prepared stew. The double male quartet has toeen looking over the "Kentucky Babes" and it is ruraoired that J^ry Lange is In Hawadi in¬ vestigating the grass aUrt shortage. The Hoboes feel this sihortage is politically instigated and Jeny will uncover a stockpile of grass sUrts in Ume for tiie show on March 9th.
