May School Board Meeting

The Huntley School Board met May 14 at the Huntley High Sdiool library, with a delegation of teach¬ ers. President Jirik called the meel- inir |.o order at 7:45. After roll call. Prnsident Jirik announced the chair¬ manship of the vaiious committees Miat make up the board. George Adams will chair Territory and In¬ surance, Dan Ziller the Building Ccrmmiit|.ec, Norm Brettschneider the Transportation Committee, Ziller and Brettschneider will both chair the Athletic Committee, and James Bond will chair the Education Com¬ mittee.
During the general busmcss sess- oin, -A suggestion was made to shor¬ ten the bus |.rip)s -of the summer sessions in order to conserve gas, A board member who has mjide several classrooms visits belives the high school students are acting rudely toward the teachers, and will fry to correst the .situation.
