The regular meetaog of the Hunt¬ ley Park Dfatriot Board Was held on Wednesday, June 2i6tti, 1974 at 8:00 p.m TTie meeting was oailled to ar¬ der by President Pariseic witti Oom- miarionens Macfeebeo, Parisek and 'pures present and Oommiisaloners Deieke and Ream isdisent. Also in attendance were Atty. Heairy Oow¬ lin and Mr. LaiTy Kahl.
The Seor€*ary was asked to read the mmutes of the jwevlous meeting: of 5-22-74, after which a mc*ion was made by Mr. Mackeben, seoonded by Mr. TVires, t» appiove the min- vtjes as read. AH CJommissdoneTS voted aye and the motion carried.
The Treasurems report, was tJien presented showing a balance in the checking aocxM* of $12,123.19. A motion was node by Mr. Tures, sec¬ onded by Mr. Parisek, to aocept the ipeport as read. Ail Commfeaonere voted aye and the report was filed tor audit.
Atty. Oowlin then presented for the boards ajjproval, a resolution authorizing the fiitn^ of the annual txKfeet and ap|xi!0|)rt6lion ordnoance. A motion to aocept the wsoWion as presented was ttien made by Mr. Mackeben, seoonded by Mr. Tures. Upon roll call aH OooimiBBiimefB voted aye Mid tfae motion oanied.

A discussMHi then look place con¬ cerning the proposed "Olen Cole Memorial Shelter" Which Mrs. Cole is donating to the park distriot. Atty. Cowlin suggested that Mrs. Oole contact her lawyer and have him draw up a letter of intent concerning the proposed belter.
After some disouBsJon on the lo- oation and the design of the pro¬ posed buildinig both Mrs. Oole and Atty. Cowlin left the meetinig.
Larry Kahl was then recogmzed and a discusstoi concerning maint-- enance duties was heald at this time. Mr. Parisek suggested that as the men are mowing and discover holes that they fill them immedlateily thus preventing possible aacidents to those using (he park. Aultiariza- tion was given for the purchase of 12 picnic tabies and for spraying the fence line for weeds. Also a price is to be secured on spnaying anoond the trees for weed control.
The President then presented the moottiily hBte for payment after wfefcli a motiwi was made by Mr. Tures, second by Mr. Parisek, to pay all bUls las presented. Upon rail oaU all CommlssiooetB voted aye and-the motion carried.

.Jitn? 26, 1974, 9:30 p.m. PoUc;- wpre called to H. D. Catty Inc. Io investigate a reported break in. Upon checking Interior the officers confronted two males in the build¬ ing. The subjects fled from the ¦building. Polico stated there was several witnesses and an investiga¬ tion wcuW eooitinuc.
June 29, 1974, Police are investi¬ gating criminal damage to property complainlts. It was repented that several incidents of damage to the personal proppeoity of poMce offlcers were taking place. Police feel they were orJy seconds behind the indi¬ viduals involved. Security measures will be increased to protect personal and public property belonging to the police department.
June 30, 1974. Police report that wiiile on ni^ patrol the officers spotted two subjects katering be- Mnd private properties. Upon in¬ vestigation the subjects were asked l» leave. Reiporitedly one subject became abusive and arguementative with poiioe. Attempts to calm the individual reportedly became useless. Sen. Jack Schaffer aslced that the measure be postponed when he saw that there were not going to be enough votes to pass it. Tb ctoige Memorial Day to the last Monday in May instead of May 30, so tho state will be oelelwating two Memo¬ rial Days again next year.
