The de¬ feat went the wrong way as the Redskins were defeated 20-7. The firat quarter spelled disaster for ttie Redsidns The Cogs scored their ffinst toudidown on a 15 yard run with 5:34 to go in the quarter. Dan Koith attempted the extra point, failed. So the score remained 6-0. They scored again with 40 soccntis renvaining in the quarter on a 9 yard run. Korth completed the extra point to make the score 13-0. The CoRs scored once more an a 20 yatd pass with 9:32 remaining in the half. Dan Korth completed the extra point to make the score 20-0. The Redskins got a touchdown on pcKSs from Mike Schwiegger to Kevin Cdcmen- The pass play covered 74 yards for the score. Mark Brett¬ schneider completed the extra point to make the score 20-7 and that's (he way i stayed. The Redskins started a long drive in the third quarter, but couldn't score. There wasn't any scoring in the s«x)nd half. Defense was the name of the game in this half. Folbwing tf.je game the Boosters went to the Genoa VFW where a limch was served and js-ized and awaiU-s presented. One of the awards was 3 shirt w*»ich read, "Redskin Anouiicer' which was presented to Bud Webber.
