Dean A. Marlowe of Hundey successful candidate for District 1 Of the McHenry County Board was seated at the Dec. bth board meeting. District 1 Includes Grafton and Algonquin Townships. Mr. Marlowe is the first member to be elected from Huntley since Howard Ruth lost.

PARK BOARD MINUTES
On December 15, 1976 the Huntley Schools will be presenti¬ ng the annual Christmas Progr¬ am. The program begins at 8pm in the Grade School Gymnasium. The K-5 classrooms will be open at 7:30 pni for children to take off their coats and get ready to come into the gym with their classes. Please take note that the classro¬ oms will not be opened until the teacher of each room arrives to supervise.
The children should wear dress -up clothes with regular shoes. Af some previous programs we have had children wear tennis shoes to keep down the walking noise, but this is no longer necessary.
There will be no admission charge for this program.
SWINE FLU
IMMUNIZATIONS
On Wednesday, December 15th & Wednesday, December 22nd Swine Flu Shots will be given at the County Health Depa¬ rtment from 2-5pm in the Mc Henry County Courthouse in Wo¬ odstock. The shots are now being offered to the General Public (18 years or over) on these 2 days. No doctors slip will be necessary to receive the Immunization.
The shots will also be given to high risk ages 317 young people, high risk 25-59 persons and 60 years of age or over. Doctor's permission slips are necessary for the high risk 3-17 & 25-59.
Date: December 18th, Saturday Time: 1:00 pm Place: Village Square Ages: Preschool & up
Santa will crown our 1976 Snow Princess & Snow Prince at the Village Square. They will reign over the afternoon activities.
Entertainment & refreshments, along with Santa's visit will be held at the Social Hall of the Congregational Church immedia¬ tely following.
Thomas McKay. Magician will put on his magic show and will make animal ballons for all little ones attending.
Come one! Cone all! Don't miss the Magic Show. Parents plan your lunch and afternoon with Santa starting at the Village Square.
Jr. High & Sr. High Dance will be held in the evening from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Shin Bone & Star will again play. Pizza & pop will be served for refreshments.
SCHOOL BOARD MEE'HNG
The December School Board meeting will be held Monday. December 13. at 7:45 pm in the High School Library.
The board will hear committee reports, pay bills and consider the following: Inservice activities. Senior trip proposal, application for tac shelter annuities, high school semester test schedule.
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District Board was held on Wednesday, November 24th at 8:00 pm. The meeting was called to order by Vice President Mackeben, with Commissioners Deieke, Mackeben, Ruth and Tures present and Commissioner Parisek absent.
The Secretary was asked to read the minutes of the previous meeting of 10-27-76 after wbich a motion was made by Mr. Tures, seconded by Mr. Deieke, to approve the minutes as read. All Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
The Treasurers report was then presented, showing a balance in the checking account of $38,968.- 08. A motion was made by Mr. Tures, seconded by Mr. Ruth to accept the rep'ort as presented. All Commissioners voted aye and the report was filed for audit.
Vice President Mackeben then presented the monthly bills for payment, after which a motion was made by Mr. Ruth, seconded by Mr. Tures to pay all bills as presented. Upon roll call all Commissioners voted aye and the inotion carried. L*** Saturday, December 4th the Huntley Lions Oub held >
