American Heritage Theme For Legion Auxiliary
Freedom - "Our Amertem Heri¬ tage" is the theme of the Ameri¬ canism Committee of the Depart¬ ment of lllitiois, American Legion Auxiliary, for this year of 1972. This theme will be given special emphasis during the month of Feb- bruary, as this month is designated by the Auxiliary to renew tfae Spirit of Americanism. Mrs. Robert Eck¬ man AmerLcanism Chainnan of HiaiUey Unit No. 67.^ will Oondud a special jwogram on American¬ ism to promote enthusiasm in her community.
As the largest Patriotic Organi¬ zation of women in the world, the Amerioan Legion Auxiliary must lead the way to help every citizen t)e aware of their duties and re¬ sponsibilities. Tfae American Leginn and the Auxiliary stress the basic principles of Freedom which have been the governing ideals of our great Nation for almost 200 years.
