This dinner is the organization's primary money- making project and all members and their wives work diligently to prepare the succulent meal. Dinner consists of barbequed chi¬ cken, hame baked beans, potatoes, cold slaw, roll, butter and beverage. To compliment the chicken, which is prepared by' the men of the club over open barbeque pits, is a spec¬ ial sauce, prepared from a family recipe of Henry Marlowe, owner of Marlowe's Feed and Hatchery in Huntley. Pies, prepared by the lad¬ ies of the club will al.so be available. Serving lime is from 11:00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Donalioas are: adults, SI.75: children, under 12, $.75. Money raised by this non-profit organization will be used to promote youth activities Ihroughout the area. The Lions Club invites all to come to Huntley, "'A Friendly Village with Country Charm," and enjoy a delicious meal in a congenial at¬ mosphere while aiding this worttiwile arganization. Starts Monday Opening day rf the summer sesr- i:n al the Huntl-^y Flemcntary Sch¬ ocl will b3 Monday, June 14. Class- <.-. will run from K:.^0 lo 12 noon. On certain days, ti'iere will be field t' ips extending into the afternoon hours. Thero will be no July 4th \acalion, school will resume Mon¬ day, July Sth. School Board The June Meeting of the Board cf Education, District 158, will be held on June 14th at 7:45 P.M. in the Board Room. Following the payment of bills and committee reports the following Old Business will be handled: Summer repairs and Maintenance, and De¬ partment Budgets.
