Pancake Day Success
The directors of die Huntiey Medical Center report that last Sundays Annual Pancake day was a hu^ success. The total proffits for the day have not as yet been tallied, but the directors feel tfae

Girls State Alternate Selected
The altemate for mini Girts State firom Huntley Unit 673, Amer loan Leigi-on Auxiliary is Karen Boihart, dau^iter of Mr. and Mrs. Delwin Bortiart, a junior in Hunt¬ ley High Schocd. She liv^ at home home with her parents and two brothers. Glen and Clark. Her other brothers and .sister live away form home.
Karen is active in the GAA, FHA and Heailth Olub. She is a student Council Member, Cheerleader, member of the the Choir at Trinity Luthem Church, Huntley, and presi¬ dent of the Walther League at the Church.
On tiie average, Karen is a "B"' .student.She is employed at Bev's Village Inn and has no specific plans for the future.
Music Contest
Huntley High School masic de¬ partment participalted in the Illinois High School Association Music Co«v test held at Sycamore Sr. High S(;hool on Fnday and Saturday, April I4tti and IStii.
The possible rartings that could be awarded were Division 1 tiirough Division IV.
The band perfcamed Friday eve¬ ning and received a Division II rating.
The choruses performed on Sat¬ urday. The Mxed Chons received a Division I rating both in jierform- ance and in aght reading. They were one of only two sciiools in the Class C oompetiUon to recevo a first rating in sight reading. CootUHied on Page Two

Two Open Houses Sunday
This Sunday, April 24, an open house wUii be held at both the Huntiey Medical Center Building and Pinechrist Golf Courst. The open bouse alt the Medidal Center will last from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. and at ttie golf dourse it will last from3 p.m. tiU 8 p.m.
At ttie Medical Center residents will have en opportiinity to meet Huntiey's new Doctor, Dr. Gueveva, and James O'Lauchlin, D.D.S. Dr Guevera started his practice last Monday, April 17.
The golf course will open May 1.
