FOr at least one year it was held in the Vffii^ SquarePark. When the Huntley Fke Station w«k8 completed in 1960, the event was'swved inside. Prior to that tiaie tbs Lions were at the mercy of the weather. For many years tbe chickens were pre- pared on tbe haif barrell pits in front of the ^re stKtfon. Howeiver, this preparation ceased when tfae Fire Department complained of tbe SDM^ damagh^ the interior of tfae tnulding.
