The Huntley Gir! Scouts held their .uipual Breiwnie Father-Dausgjbter Dinner on Thursday, March ISth at the Tninity l.u|.'.-e'Tan Churdi. Alter the prescrrtatin of colors, a bec^ dinner was served to approxi¬ mately 65 people. After the dinner, ow Mis|.ress of Ccreriicnios. Mrs. Chad Koppie, introduced our guests and leaders. Representing Elgin Scout Headquarters was nur gxiest Miss Mary Beth Malm. Mr. William Lecgee cUid Mrs. Christiansen were our guests for the dinner and also prcvieied u,s witli a fine pre gram of ori|.€rtainment. Mr. leggee sang several songs accompanied by Mrs.
Christianson on the piano. The Brownies sang- the Brownie Smile Si,i,,7 to their lathers and the fa¬ thers then Siang a song to their (_*augh|.ers. As part of ttie prepara¬ tion for t'he dinner,( the girls made nimetags, programs, nntcups and gift;- for their fathers. We feel they should be mentioned for their par|. in making' the dinner so weU re¬ ceived by the lahters. We wish to thank thme Lutheran Church for ^- Icwing us to use the church for fhe e'lnner. We also want to thank Bet¬ ty Rohlwing for making emr pro- grdrn inserts.
Spring Vacation Dates Revised
spring vacation dates for Huntley Schools aro April 19th arid 2(nh. Ij. is planned to add three emergen¬ cy days to the t\^'0 .scheduled days, provided that the schools don"t have tei be closed before sprimr \acation.
The spring vacation will begin at (.he close of school, Friday, April Uth and will resume lon Monday. AprU 2.W1 at 8:30.

School Seeks Youth Under Five
The Huntley School District is still seeking the names of all chil- drc-n under the age of five who are living in School District 158. OTfi- cais ane hoping for a 1(X) per cent i-espionse to the up coming Pre-School Screening survey.

Adult Sewing Class
Mrs. Lambrodit of Woodstock Fcbric Store will teach a series of sewing classes in cewperation with the Huntley Higli Sdhool Home Ec¬ onomics Department.
The sewing of a dooible knit febric will be taught in three lessons start¬ ing next Thursday night, March 29th. Tiie class will meet fnom 7 to 9 p.m. in the Home Economics De¬ partment in the grade sdiool build- iiit; on March 29th, April 5th and April 12lh.
Tho cost for the lessons and pat¬ terns is Ten - fifty ($10.50). The fee can be paid at Vt\e High School of¬ fice when reg-istering or at the time of the first class meeting.
Tho olass will leam bow to make a blazer, skirt and slacks. Basic techniques and handling of a dewble knit fabric will be demonstrated, then students will work on their gar¬ ments for liie remainder -if the pep- iod. Completion of the garments will be done outside of dass. A zig¬ zag maohine is not necessary.

Cn March 10, the HuntJey High Schocl Band and Chorus perfcmied in tlie Illinois High School Aawd- «tion Si-^o and Ensemble Contest at Hononegah Hi^ Scfaool IR Rodc- totn. The contest was held for vard- cus Irlgh schools in trie area.
Ibere were loun poaaibie Rating a group could get: Wvision One, D'- vis'on Two, DJK^on Three, or Di¬ vision Four, The Band grouD were raied on tone, intonation, technique, rhythm, dynamies, musicianship (in¬ terpretation), balance, and stage pre¬ sence, Tlie chorus groups were rated on tone, intonation, technique, rhy¬ thm, diction, interpretation, part ac¬ curacy, and memorization. These items were eadh ff.ven one, two, three, or four poir^s, 1 point was the highest a group could get and^ 4 points was the lowest. Tbe points were totaled up and this decided the division rating. 8 and 12 points qual¬ ified fe>r a Divisicm One rating. 13 to ]g points dedded a Division Two Rating. 19 fo 24 points gave the group a Dvision Three rwting, and 25 to 32 points gave the group a Division Four Rating. There alsi wes a special items part on the rating for such things as beat, speed, and notes. No rating was given on this part, but comments were given if necessary.
In the band depaitment of the contest, there were 8 Division One latings. These groups were a Brass Quintet, a woodwind duet, a drum duet, a B-flat clarinet trio, a per¬ cussion ensemble, a cliarinet choir, a saxaphone quintet, and a brass duct. The brass quintet was made up of Greg Lindsey, Dave Hill, Grant Maiks, Randy Leggee, and Jay Moli¬ tor. They played the select!cn "If Thou Be Near." The woodwind duet was made up of Kathy Swanson and Bonnie Nerby who played the selec¬ tion "Gay Minuet." A drum duet was made up of Mike Bobw and Conrad Schultz. They played "Dou¬ ble Drumin' ". A B-flat Clarinet trio was made up of Ron Master, Lori Brandwein, and Betty Goerlitz, who plaiyed "Air and Tarantella." Clar¬ inet choir was made up oif Kathy Swanson, Bonnie Nerby, Barb Wd- tor, Sue Bothart, Lori Brandwein, Betty Goeriitz, Ron Master, Jim Morrow and Judi, Aulik. They piay¬ ed the selectkm "Valse a la Scher¬ zo.' A saxofihone quintet was made up of Karen Borhart, Connie Nerby, Doug Strickland, Bd Brandwein, and Randy Boley, who ptayeyd "Fair and Warmer." The Secretary was asked to read the minutes of the previous meeting of 1-24-73, after wlMch a motion w«s made by Mn. Parisek, seccMided by Mr. Tures, to approve the minutes as read. All Commisstoncrs vo|.ed aye and the motion carried.
Tlie Treasurers report was then presented showing a balance in the checking account of $15,189.14. A nifxtion w«s made by Mr. Tures, sec- of;ded by Mr. Mackeben, to accept the leport as read. All Commission¬ ers voted aye and the tepor|. was filed for audit.
Mr. Scheflow was tfien recogrnized and reported that the door swing on the adnunistration building had been changed, the baiance cf the insula- tiun had been insf^ed end that the power is in and the painting is near¬ ly finished.
Mr. Cowiin entered the meeting at tihis point.
Upon (Uscu^on it was decided that any decision oo the septic sys- |.em be held off till next meeting, pending Mr. Cowiins investigation in¬ to the matter. Mr. Scheflow then presented a request for payment from Wetzel Construction.
