Athletic Barupiet    Honor Roll
The following information was sent home with all students being honored at the Athletic Banquet A request is made that an answer be forthcoming from the parents by AprU  20th.
The  informaton was:
This is to inform you that your Son or Daughter will be honored at the Lions Club Annual Athletic Banquet on April 27th, at 7 p.m. his or her dinner will be provided for by  the Club.
This dinner is iKMi-profit and pro¬ vides acknowledgement to those athletes who have wiorked long hours and gave of themselves for the Athletic Program of our school.
The memo was from LeRoy Marks and Glen Delaney, who also extend¬ ed  a thank you.
If you wish to purchase tickets for the Roast Beef Dinner plea.se sign the form provided and return as soon as possible.
The price was $3 each for adults «id $1.75 for students (other than athletes).

The McHenry County N.F.O. will hold their armual Dance this Satur¬ day, April 17 at the Huntiey Ameri¬ can Legion Home starting at 8:30 P.M. Music fw tlie dance will be provided by Bob Moeling. In addit¬ ion to the dance, one steer and one pig will be given away. Tickets for the dance and pig and steer may be purchased from any N.F.O. mem¬ ber or at the door.
Annual Grafton Township Meeting
The annual township meeting was called to order by Mrs. Leo Dwyer, township clerk, on April 13 at the township garage at 8 00 p.m. The first order of business was the elec¬ tion of the moderator. Mrs. Dwyer called for nominations from the floor. Mr. Vemon Brunschon nomi¬ nated Oliver Field, seconded by Earl Stoddard. There were no other nominations so Harold Keck moved that the nominations be closed, sec¬ onded by Kenneth Bakley. The mo¬ tion carried. The nomination of Mr. Field was brought to a vote and was carried unanimously. Mr. Field came forward and waa sworn in.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. Dwyer. Arthur Schuller moved that the minutes be approved as read. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carlsen and ceu"- ried.
Mr. Field asked the clerk to read the tentative budg:et and appropria¬ tion ordinanee to electors. Mrs. Dwyer asked Howard Rutth to read this and other reports as she was having difficulty due to a sore throat. Ruth explained ttiat he would read the tentative budget and appropriation ordinance but due to recem legislation the electors could take nd 'action dn it but could make recommendations for dianges if desired.
After a reading of the budget and appropriations ordinance no recom¬ mendations were tnade so Mr. Fields stated the next item on the agenda Contiaaed on Page Ibree ANNUAL   TOWNSHIP   MEETNIG
School Board Meeting
The regular meeting of the schotrf board was held April 12 with Mr. Jirik, Mr. Bein, Miss Mackaben, Mr. Michelsen, Mr. Bastain, and Mr. Stading all present. Mr. Brand¬ wein was absent.
A canvas of the election was 78 votes cast: Emest Stading Jr. (63 votes), George Adams (71 votes), Dr. Gary Grau (I vote), Robert Frank (2 votes), Alfred Jordi (1 vote), Donald Hardy (I vote) and Wayne Petersen  (6 votes).
A motion was made by Mr. Mi¬ chelsen, .seconded by Miss Macka¬ ben, to appoint the canvas of elec¬ tions as listed. The motion carried 6 yeas, no nays.
A motion was made by Miss Mackaben, seconded by Mr. Jirik, to seat Ernest Stading Jr. to a 3- year term. The motion carried 6 yeas,  no nays.
At this itme Mr. Brandwein came into the meetng. A motion made by Mr. Bein, seconded by Mr. Bastian, to seat George Adams to a 3-year term. The motion carried 7 yeas, no  nays.
A motion was made by Mr. Bas¬ tian, seconded by Mr. Bein to ad¬ joum the meeting of wganizing the new Boasd of Education of tfae forth¬ coming year.

As always, we have a fun ere- p'^c planned for the wh->le family. Thi^ year's rhow will coBSfat of two one-act plays, both of which are designed to keep you laugliing from beginning to end.
To begin the evenings entertain¬ ment we have a western cofncdy entitied, "Half Pint Windom Rides West." Packed into this little jewel we have all the standard western scenes and characters. Tbe iaitial meeting of the hero and villain and his gang, the stage coach holdop, the dance haS soeoe, the chase and capture are just some of tbe treats in store for our audience in this play.

The citizens of the Village of Huntiey art sponsoring the Third Annual Pancake Day this Sunday, Apr. 18, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the beneflt of the Hunttey Medical Center. Tbe menu conaists at satts- ages, eggs, pancakes, orattge juice and coffee. Children's tickets are 75c and adult's $1.50. This break¬ fast and dinner is being served at the Huntiey Rre Bam.
