Huntley Park Dist Summer Program The Huntley Park Board and the HwUley School Board have agreed to help the high school age studenits this summer, by makittg availatoje the bigh sdvxA gym on a regular basis, during the summec miciiit|i9. The Park Board, under the direction of Glen Deteney. will operate a recreational program for this age group because of the lack of en¬ deavor, the students wil benefit and have something to do with some of their everungs during the months of June and July. Limited use of the gym must be pi«nned because of tho clearwng dur¬ ing August and we want students to participate in the baseball activities during the summer. A fee must be charged to defray expenses for the operaiting of the program. Girfc will pay n $3 reg istraition fee by May 31st. Boys will pay a registration fee of $5 by May 3Is*. Before this program is in effect .''*> must have a minimoim of JO giris and 50 boys. Sign up can be made in the office at ihe high schoot or office of the grade sch<.«ol (8th graders going into High school). No shower facilities will be used during this recrational time. Stu¬ dents must come ready to partici- pat*^ \«ith gym shoes.' The gym will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. each of 1he«5e evenings for students. This program will begin on June 12th and end on July 20th. Tlx; fol¬ lowing dates will be used for the boj'S June 14, 15. 21, 22. 28 and July 5, 6. 12, 13 and 19th. For girls the dates are June 12. 19, 26, and July 3, 10 and the 17th. The 29th of June will be reserved for p. special event night as will the 20th of July. Further information, will foltow concerning these two nights. A motion made by Mr. Adams and 2nd by Mr. Bein to approve of the miivutcs as read. Moltion carried 7 yeas and 0 nays. A motion made by Mr. Michelsen and 2nd by Mr. Ziller to approve of the payment of the reg\ilar monthly bills. Motion carried 7 yeas and 0 nays.
