Annual eggnog party at State Bank of Huntley
Miss Diane Downen and The State Bank of Huntley informed this paper that the eggnog party held this past Saturday, for their cus¬ tomers was very successful. In the 12 years of tiius yuletide event they
had the biggest participation. The Cliristmas season and spirit was certainly in evidence their new de- toriitiiorLs designed by Mr. lerty K.rout7.er for the bank.

Ice Skating . . . Weather Permitting
Weather permitting there will be ice skating at tihe school durirng the evening hours and on Satur¬ day's and Simday's. Lig'hts wiU be on for evening sfcaitinp. The Park Board and School Boai^ are co¬ operating: in IWs endeavor to bring another winters activity for the people in Huntley. A warming house (Concession stand) will be provided for putting on skates. 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on week days and frxOTi 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday's and Simday's. Please no sleds on ice rinks. No snowmo¬ biles on school grounds. Sleds may be used on the hill in front of the
grade school.

They are Harley H. Mackeben, Edwin F. Deicke, Barbara Simpson, Franklin D. Schneider.
The final day for filing a petition ia January 15, 1973.

Regular Meeting of Huntley Park Board
The regular meeting erf the Hunt¬ ley Park District Board was held on Wednesday, lanuary 3, 1973 ait 8:00 p.m. The meeting was called lo order by President Parisek with CommLssionens Mackefcen, Parisek, Rean and Tures present and Oom- mLssioner Deicke ^»ent. Also pre¬ sent was Mrs. Barbara Simpson, who has taken out a petition for the coming election.
The Secretary was asked to reai the minutes of the previous meet¬ ing of 11-22-72 after which a mo¬ tion was made by Mr. Tures, sec¬ onded by Mr. Ream, to approve the minutes as read. All Commis¬ sioners voted aye and the motion canied.
The Treasurers report was then preserrted showing a balance in the checking account of $10,654.23. A motion wae made by Mr. Parisek, seconded by Mr. Tures, to approve the report as presented. All Com- rrjissioners voted aye and the re¬ port was filed fer audit
The President then presented the monthly t)ills for payment, after which a motion was made by Mr. Parisek seconded by Mr. Tures, to pay all bills as presented. Upon roll oall all CommLssionors voted aye and tihe motion carried.
Mr. Roam turned in $70.00 from the Mens Recreation Program and $60.00 from the Boys Iiitermural Program. He also stated that the contract between the Park Boaixl aud the Schoel Board for leveling and cleaning up the tennis cnurt for an ice skating pond had not been signed due to a misundenstanding between the two boards.
Mr. Parisek then presented a cor;y of the bylaws of the Huntley StKiwmobile Club whioh arc tD be tunned over to our Recreation Di- rox?tor Glen Delaney for future re¬ ference. The board wishes to look into the possibility of working a snowmobUe program into its recpea- lion program next year.
A general discussion followed concerning the work on the garage- (ifficc building at the park A mo¬ tion was made by Mr. Mackeben, seconded by Mr. Tures, to appoirvt Mr. Parisek to meet with Mr. Sche¬ flow to discuss all programs. AH Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
Next the board voted unsinimous- ly to retum the bond security check lo W. F. Wetzel Co.
There being no further business tc come before the board a motion was made by Mr. Tures, seconded by Mr. Parisek, t» adjourn. The meeting was so adjoiuned at 9:35 p.m.

Cadette Troop 210 held a craft sale on Friday, Dec. 22nd at Hunt¬ lcy. The giris sold candles, p^^iets, Christmas articles and other items they had made. The money eamtd will bt used to help defray the cost

January Village Board Meeting
The regular meeiting of the Vil¬ lage Board was held on Thursday, Ian. 4*, at the Himtley ViUage Hall. All the members ¦were pres¬ ent. The minutes were read and approved.
A motion wias rrtade to approve the bills by Trustee Ackman. The motion was seconded by Trustee Zimmerman.
A motion was made to approve the Treasurer's Re^joit by Trustee animerman. The motion was seconded by Trustee Cole.
The Illinois Bell Telepiwne Com¬ pany wishes ta> increase the tele¬ phone rates in Huntley. Tlie Board was asked by the Illinois Ootn- merce Cotmmission wtiether they approved the increase. A motion was made by Trustee O'Connor to oppose the new rates. The motion was seconded by Tnistee CoJe.

Chiet Richaid Nelton was invitad to the regular monthly meeting of Penguin's Snuwmdbile Qub at the Legtion HaU on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd. The group discussed wttb Chief Nelson the proper use at snowmobifes in the Village of Huntley.
