Mayor Wilpault Brill announced last Saturday that Richard Nelson former chief of police of Hui^ey, haa reconsidered his decision to re- si^ Mr. Nelson took over the duties as CMd of PoUee again last Moo- day after a two week leave of ab¬ sence. Mr. Nelson started his duties as Chief ef Police June IS, 1963, and witfa an exception of about a year interval, has been Chief of Police ever since. His decision to recon¬ sider the position of police diief was greatiy welcomed by the mem¬ bers of tbe ViUage board.

The little 5 ounce cars batUed it out wtth David Lindsey taldng first- place trophy. Tony Korwin received firat place ribbon and Dale Ifoghes second-place ribbon.
Voted winner for "best atppear- anet" was Bill Montanye's car. The four cob dens ihttnk scoutmaster Wayne D<»iahue, his acouts and the parents, for their belp running and judging the Pinewood Derby.

The regidar meeting of the park board was held on Tuesday, Mardi 25 hi the tipstahrs of the HasUey \ailagc Han. All membera of the board were imaent The puipose of the BMethig was to priwent to the pco{^ of Huntiey a m^ of Deicke Park, riiowiag where the board plans to i^Uwe an entrance, shelters, etc. The meeting alao waa to give the public an opportunity to voice their opinions on what riuidd be at the park.
Following the reffilar buaioeas section of the board meeting, Presi¬ dent Mike Kiley. Jr., turned the meeting over to Mr. Sheftow, con¬ sulting engineer for tiie park. Ur. The HunUey High scfaool had their basketball awards assembly last week. This assembly was to give awards to tiiose boys and girls who lettered in basketirall as a varsity player or a fre*-8<^ play¬ er. Also, the girls who were dieer- leaders for the two teams. The players who lettered for varsity are as follows: John Bastain, Barry Borchart, Dan Dammyer, Chuck Goeid, Bob Wicke, Paul Yurs, Alan Hafferkamp, James DrafalL
