Lions Elect New Officers
The Huntley Lions Club held their annual dinner meeting with their wives as special guests attd^ installed new officers on Satur¬ day evening, June 4, at the Vir¬ ginian in Crystal Lake.

Primry Election Next Tuesday
On Tuesday, June 14, the Pri¬ mary Election will be held for both major political parties. Since the lasi election the village of Huntley and the rural area which formerly comprised the large dis¬ trict known as Grafton I, has been split into 2 precints.
Those voters living on the west side of Royte 47 either in or out of Uie village limits between the Kane county line and the Dorr township line and the Coral town¬ ship line on the west, are in Grafton 4. The polling place for Grafton 4 precinct is the Grafton township garage, which is located north of Huntley, just off Route 47 west on Road. This area pre¬ viously was a part of Grafton 1.
The area east of Route 47 in and out of the village extendinf^ from the Kane county line to the Dorr township line and the Algonquin township line on tho east, with the exception pf Crya¬ tal Vista, Crystal Gardens, North Shore and Lakewood, is in Graf¬ ton precinct 1. The polling place for Grafton 1 is the Hunt^g^il- liage Hall, on Coral Stfll^ at Chuxxsh.
Little League Park Board Gets

Members of Huntley Little Leagrue baseball have been holding practice games, which will con¬ clude with a game at Burliogrton on Friday, .June 10. Starting June 14, the games will count in the Little Leagrue standings. All games start at 66:30 p.m. except those played • in Huntley, which will start at 7:30 p.m.

The Huntley Park Board re¬ ceived 1422.04 at their last regular meeting from Wayne Peteiaen, secretary of the Huntley Junior Chamber of Commerce. This ac¬ tion completely balanced oat tiw Huntley Jaycees organisation ac¬ count, the grou|> mmr being in¬ active. To date the Huntley Park Board has received |600 from the Anierican Legion, flOO. from th« Legion Auxiliary, and f422.04 from the Jaycees, making a grand toUl of $1022.04. This money will- be used for immediate nedessities at the park. The Huntlejf Park District does not have any tax money as yet tdnA will have to depend upon donations until tax money is available.

The Lions Club also contributes substantial¬ ly to the Hadley School for the Blind at Winnetka, and was the instigator of community action to erect the Medical Building in the village. Teener League and Little league supplies and umpiring, tiie Grade School Batketiwli tourna¬ ment and trophies are other local activities sponsored or assisted by the Lions Club.
