Busy Week for Area Farmers
On Saturday, 'I'ebruary 25, Freund Implement Co. wQl hold an open house to celebrate their first anni¬ versary in Huirtley. To mark the oc- casicm the ccmipanyl is awarding several awards including:

On Monday, Februaiy 27, a meet¬ ing sponsored by Martowe Feed and Hatchery entitled "Will Profit b your Biggest Crop in 1%7?" Will outline what neces.sary steps are needed to insure a greater dollar profit to farmrs.
A representative fiom the Mon¬ santo (Chemical Co. v/ill be present to give farmers the latest up-tc-dale information for increasing yields.
Accident On Union Road
Two Huntley youths were hospit¬ alized on Tuesday, February 21, after a minor accident which oc¬ cured at 8:16 A.M. 1 mile North of Huntley on Union Road in front of the Charles Krise drireway.
Charles W. Ruth, 16, R.R. 1, Huntley, son of Mr. and Mra. How¬ ard Rvith, was driving South on Union "^oad. At the curve he tam¬ ed left. A truck driven by Donald Hennig, 84, Box 82, Plato Center, was going North making a right turn at the curve.
According to Sheriff's report the Ruth car turned left too much and was struck by the Hennig car. Both cars were damaged on their left fenders. Penny Ruth and Wm. Ruth 12, who were pa'sengers in the car were taken to the Sherman Hospital in Klgin, by their father.

Teen Age Dance
A very succesfful teen-age dance, sponsored by the Senior Pilgrim Fellowship of the United Church of Christ, was J*ld on Saturdav night in the Social Hall ofthe church. The group invited all teenagers in the cOTTununity and a total of UO tic¬ kets Were purchased.
Tbe theme of the dance was in keeping with Valentin's Day and decorations carried out the idea. TTve youth had spent considerable time in decoratii^ and planning the affair
which helped to make R successful.
Music was provided by a groi^ of area teen-agers, the 'Knight Boats" and as one of the adults who was present for a time expressed it, "if you hard the sound of things popping that was the ear-drums."
The next party being planned by this group of young people is a rol¬ ler skating peuty on March 5. That will be limited to members of the P. F.
