On Wednesday, Feb. 1, an acci¬ dent on the Huntley-Mareago biackti^ iit- Coyne Station^ Road catised head injuries t^ *'Alvin Nlemeyer. Mr. Nieme^er had stopped at the intersection then started to entier the main posd,, when his 1966 Rambler Sedaii was struck by s 1963 (Chevrolet 2-<toor driven by Mr. Ronald L. Coyi of - 310 Ridge Ave., CrysUI L^e. With Mr. Coy was his wife, Loret¬ ta, who was also injured. Both Mr. Neimeyer and Mrs. Coy were tak¬ en to the Woodstock Hospital by the James A. O'Connor Ambulance service. Tlie cars were taken to Kiley's Service. The cars taken to Kiley's Service Station in Hunt¬ ley.
A small aacident occurred on Monday of this week on the Al¬ gonquin blacktop, when Mrs. Anna Luther wf Woodstock was attempt- ingr to puH Ottt: onto Utt road from Colls, Inc. and her car was struck by one drivCn by George L. Black of Carpeatsnville, goiag west on the blacktop. Slight damage to the left rear fender of the Luther car and to the right front door of the Black auto resulted.

Huntley High School Band
The annual Winter Music Con¬ cert will be presented at the High School Gymnasium on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 8:00 p.m. The three school bands and the High School Chorus will be featured in this event.

falls in the last two weeks, tiie music directors, Robert Thrk and Mrs. Bernard Johnson, have been working with the children at every available moment to get their pro¬ gram in shape but they rapMt they will be ready for tha foneart on Saturday.

It was decided to cancel the Par¬ ent-Teacher Association meeting in February, due to tbe htmay schedule of events.
Tentative plans for the March 16 meeting include an "Open House" at our present school building.

Hobo Dinner February 25
The members of the Chancel Choir (high school students and adults) , are preparing for, thefa- annual Hobo Dinner and floor show on February 26. All mem¬ bers of the choir have tickets for this event. Mrs. Ronald Jirik has taken the responsibility for super¬ vising and cordlnating the sale of tickets for the two servings and shows. Others who will have tick¬ ets for sale are Henry Harlowe, Herb Eggers, and the Earle John¬ sons.
There will be two servings and shows aa in former years —the first at 6:4^ p.m. and the "late show" at 7:46 p.m. The food will be prepared by the ladies of the Celas group, the members of the chotr will assist with the serving
An evening of good food, good fun and entsrtainment is promised again this year by this group of youth and "young at heart" adults who have for several yesrs put on this winter-time event. The show was a complete sell-out last year and promises to be such again on February 26.

After the routine reading of the minutes and payment of bills a discussion wss held on the possi¬ bility that the SUte of Illinois m<gfat force Huntley to build a polishing pool In conjunction with the sanitary sewage treatment plant.
The Board discussed the Police Department %ext. It was mention¬ ed that the police car was sluggish. Supt. of Streets Percy Swanson said that the engine looked as if H had gum on it. He said he did his own maintenance on the village truck. Trustee Ackman stated that the police car should have a throttle installed as it idled much of the time and that the motor should be run a little faster than th^ idle during those times.
