High School Graduation
The Class of 1963 of Huntley Highchool held Baccalorreate ex¬ ercises on Sunday evening June 2, and Commencement Exercises on Monday evening June 3, at the Huntley School Gymnasium.
The speaker for the baccalaur¬ eate service was Rev. LeRoy F. Mueller of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley.

Grafton Park
News
Grafton Beach opened Memorial Day this summer, with fine beach weather. Although the water was cold, due to the cool Spring, the recent heat wave has made the swimming confortable; and now, the water warmed considerably. The beach has a new store thus year, where sandwiches are being served.
Residents are free to obtain new beach tags at any time aat the beach. Residents should bring evi¬ dence that they do live in Grafton Township, in order to receive the new bliU:k and white tags. Beach hours are 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. every day. AU non-residents must pay the daily admission charge of SOc per adult and 25c per child on week¬ days, and 75c per aduH and 35c per child on week ends and holidays.
As in the padt, thie Grafton Park District will iwovide a four week program of swimming instruction, which begins July 1, and will con¬ tinue for four weelcs until July 26. Lessions are given on weekdays except the Fogi^ o^ July, in the afternoon frQ^^B|*^to 4 P.M. Instructors a^^RAPCroes grad¬ uates, and are qualified to twtu^ Red Cross certificates to the stud-
stnictlon, and there is aiao a dam for mothers. Registration will be held at the bejgiljLand at the Hunt¬ ley Village hIH^ Tuesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 2T, from 1 to 6 P.M. Please regltiter on these days, until waiting imtil the first lesson wiien we are busy organ¬ izing the classes. The registration fee is $1.00 for each student for residents of Graf tern Parii District and $3.00 per student for non— residents. It costs the Park District approximately $4.00 per student to provide this program. It is the desire of the Park Board that all resklents be awair of the services available at Grafton Park Beach, and that each resident enjoy our park. Residents <rf the Huntley School District No. 158, will be transported from Huntley by a School bus, provided by the Board of Education.

Huntley at Harvard Milk Day

Many residents of Huntley were in atnendance at the Harvard Milk Day celebration on Saturday, June 1. The Huntley schol was repre¬ sented in the parade by the Cadet and Higtr School bands which were one of the first two tmits to pass the reviewing stanad.
The 40 and 8 Loccxnotive waa also in the parade and in one of the pictures can be seen Wally Leonard seated on one of the toid- ers.
His Honor, Mayor WilpauH Brill, Altered the Mayor's Wlk- ing Cbntest and finisbed second out of more than 20 mtries.

The Huntley F.F.A Chapter is PlEuinlng its annual Greenhand and Chapter Farmer Degree Award meeting. At this meeting boys in both the 1st year Agriculture class and 2nd year clsiss will receive a- wards wiiich they merit through their agriculture work and F.F.A. Farming Program. The 1st year members will receive Greenhand Degrees and the second year mem¬ bers will receive Chapter Farmer degrees.
The Huntley chapter is also plan ning its trip to tiie State Conven¬ tion at Champaign-Vrbana. "nils will be held June 11-13, at the U of I Campus in the new assembly hall.
In our minimum tillage program so far we have ¦ noticed a few differences. One of the main dif¬ ferences which we. have noticed is the less compactness of the min¬ imum tillage soil compared to the conventional soil planting land.
This factor then results in there being more weeds in the conven¬ tional land compared to the min¬ imum tiUage awl. In future articles

Cub Scout Circus June 15
There will be a Cub Scout Circus on Saturday afternoon June 15th, at the school grounds. '
The big circus parade will start at 2:00. After the parade eadi cub scout will preform an act in the
"Big Ring" there will be
magic tricks, sharp-shooters, wild animal acts, and clowns.
After the show the pmblic may try their skill at the game booths, go into the "House of Fun" or visit the Peep Show and see a "Legless-Hairless-Dog" and a "Cub Scout-Li vin&llnd^-Water". The Fortune-Tr.,j£^^^y will tell your future. Balld38WSB refreshments will be sold.
