Huntley Rates High At McHenry CourUy Junior Fair
The Holstein classes far exceeded all otfaer dairy classes in the Mc¬ Henry County 4-H show last Friday. Judging took most of the day as youngsters from around the county vied in several categories.
Top blue rit>bon winners noted in each category from Huntley were: Purebred Junior Heifer Calf, Dan Fruin, Huntley Harvesters; Senior Heifer Calf, Karen Meinke. Clover- leaf'Bodsters; Junior Yearling Hei¬ fer, Steven Borhart, James Dra- tai^; Steve Van Acker, Huntley Harvesters; Two-yearvold-otw not in milk, Jim Hennig, Alan Haffer¬ kamp, Huntley Harvesters; Four- year-old-cow, and older, Dan SYuin, Huntley Harvesters; Grade Junior Heifer Calf, Tom Kohley, Huntley Harvesters; Yearling Heifer, Ron Hafferkamp, Huntley Harvesters.

Following the reading of the min¬ utes, payment of bills autiwrized, Huotley Police Chief Richard Nel¬ son was recognized and stated that the School Speed Zoae at 70 miles per hour on West Main Street should have a second sign stating "End of 20 mile i^ieed limit" Hie C3iief re¬ ported further that certain signs in Huntley have been defaced and idiould be replaced.
