Fire At Lutheran Sunday School
Police Report        Huntley Youth to he on TV Show
Huntley firemen were called out at approximately 11:00 a.m. Sun¬ day morning, Sept. 22, to exting¬ uish a fire in the Sunday School building of the Trinity Lutheran Church. This build is across the street from the Church.
The fire was on the main floor of the one story sch^phhuilding. Originallythe building wJs used as a 1 i-oom Lutheran school.
The fire started in 2 separate ¦places, one on the west wall in a bookcase^ and the other on the north wall underneath a certin. The curtain burned ^M^^e floor and the bookcase andX^^ntents were distroyed.
No cause has been established for the fire, howe\er, it is assumed t:hat the fire in the bookca.se was started by a birthday candle. One of the Sunday School students celebrated a birthday in the early part of the service which is bleaved not to have been extinguished pro¬ perly. The fire underneath the cur- rONTINTTED ON PAGE TEN

The Huntley Community Oedit Union plans lo celebrate Internat¬ ional Credit Union Doy on Satur¬ day. October 19th. Erlo the Clown a famous TV clown, will be on hand to entertain the children at the credit union on that day. There will be fun for all so plan on being at the credit union on that Sat¬ urday.

The King and Queen are mem- bersof the Court were elected by the entire High School Student body, last Friday, September 20; they will partisipate throughout the Homecoming activities.
On Friday, Sept 27, they will ride in the parade which will start at 2:30 p.m. at the High School. That evening at the Half—time the Queen will be presented to the fans. On Saturday night Sept 28 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the crowning of the King and Queen and introducing of the Court will take place at the Annual Home¬ coming dance.

Little League Bamiuet
The D&Z Transfer Co., owned by Norm Zimmerman, was broken into last Saturday night between the hours of 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 a.m. Sunday Morning.
The burglars gained entrance to the building by breaking a small glass in the window of the entrance door and reaching their hand thro¬ ugh to unlock the Yale lock on the inside.

Police are working on leads at the present time.

Redskins    Win
The Huntley Redskin football team won their second game of the season last Friday against Hebi-on with a score of 32—0.
The Redskins got 2 touchdowns in the first quarter, 2 in the third guarter and one in the forth quarter.
The week previously tho team beat Richmond with a score of 18— 6, to open the season. At the Hebron game, Larry Ras¬ mussen scored 3 touchdowns, the first two in the first quarter, and the trird in the forth quarter. He CONTINUED ON PAGE TEN
The Huntley F.F.A. Chapter Co¬ operated with W.T.T.W. TV, Caian- el 11, Chicago, in making telvision programs last Monday, September 23. The programs were put on film and will be shown at a latter date.
The three programs will aK)ear on the "Arkie's Farm Totem Club" show, a new show starting October 3, at 5:30 to 6 00 P.M. This show is designed to show city youngsters tihe way of life on a farm. Part of the show is on film, as the scenes whi<di were, shot today, and part is done live in the studio. "Hift pro¬ gram is designed to educate child- ix?n from the ages of 7 to 11, and according to Mr. Barrett, Vocat¬ ional Agriculture Advisor at the Huntley High School, students of that age were used in the product¬ ion of the 3 shows.
The first of the series of three worked with Sue Eggers and Mork Riedl on the Ferdinand Riedl Farm south of Huntley on Rt. 47. Sue played the part of a yoimg city girl coming out to the farm for the first time to learn where food comes from.
At the farm Sue and Mark worked with Mr. Benson, Conser- \ation specialist from Kane and DuPage counties, learning the tec¬ hniques of soil conservation, how soils are made, the crops which grow on certin soils, ihow certin livestock eat certin food produced by  the soil and what product is

The next scene took place on the Harold Borhart farm west of town Mr. Henry Marlowe, of Marlowe's Feed and Hatchery accompanied it to her calf.
The last scene was taken with Lonnie driving a tractor and Lin¬ da with her little dog Mike, who kept appearing^ and out of the verious scenes^fc;4)ed at the barn, picking up Arkre smd gong out to the barnyard to feed the cows.
ITiese programs, we were trid by the producer, Rachael Stevenson, are going to last 26 weeks and should be of interest to both city

Ben Hansford announced today that tomorrow, Friday, is Chevy Show time, the day on which the new 1964 Chevrolets will appear.
This year, as in years past, Ben is going to have Open Hoase, dis¬ playing all hLs 1964 cars. A brand new line of cars wil! appear for the first time this year. They are called the (Thevelle.
