The McHenry County chairman is and has been for the last 20
years is Mr. Fred Ferris of Wood¬ stock, who was born and grew up in Huntley. He graduated from Huntley High School in 1899.
His father, T. R. Ferris, was Huntley's druggist and postmaster.
Huntley has krown and old replaced since then. But Fred likes lo come back to Huntley and meet the old and new friends he has made in the Fled Cross work.

Huntley Men To Hear Cary dD C,L. Jaycees
The possibility of organizing a Junior Chamber of Commerce in Huntley will be aired at an open meeting which has been scheduled by the Crvstal Lake and Cary Jay¬ cees for 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 19, at the Huntley American Leg¬ ion Hc«ne.
At the briefing meeing, the Crystal Lake and Cary Jaycees will explain various phases of their own operation, community and membership benefits resulting from Junior Chamber operations and Junior Chaml>er chapter and membership requirements. A ques¬ tion and answer {period will colse the session, which is expected to last an hour and a half.
Tho Junior Chamber of Com¬ merce is a civic service organiza¬ tion whose menMUhip is open to all young men be^^n the ages of 21 through 35.
Purpos of the world-wide organ¬ ization is the imjwovement of communities in which units are lo¬ cated and personal devaiepmeBt of its members; both objectives being accomidished through a wide var¬ iety of project activities.

Jr. Class Play - March 14
The Junior Class of Huntley High School will present "No Boys .Allowed," a comedy-mystery in 3 .nets. It will bo presented at 8:00 p.m. in the high school gym on March 14.

Rita was through with Fred -
absolutely — especially after she saw him ki.ss that blonde good¬ bye at the airport. Of course, Fred claimed it was only his cousin, but blondes like that are nobody's cou¬ sin. Then Fred breaks In on Rita's slumber party — which is strictly a "no boys allowed" affair — and pleads with her to take him back.

Bruce A. Weber of R. R. 1 in Union, III., was one of 147 Brad¬ ley University students listed on the Dean's Honor List for the first semester of the 1963-64 academic school year according to Dr. E. Russel Kuchel, vice president for Academic Affairs at Bradley.

Joy Davis, daughter <rf Mr. and Mrs. David L. Davis, R. R. 1, Huntley, has received academic honors at Augustana College, Rode Island. Her name appeared <»i the Dean's List for her achievem«it of close to an "A" average during the fall semester. A graduate of Mai^ngo Conununity High Sdtool, Miss Davis is a junior at Augustt- ana. She is majoring in psydK^ogy.
