Leo Bine led Huntley with 42 points and victory over the slight favorite I.udwig of Elgin five. In the Cary tournament first round, Huntley paced 4out of the start¬ ing ive with double figures: Jon Sunderlage with 13: Dave Froh¬ ling with 11; and Bill ZinVc with 17. Rol)erson led Ludwig with 36 in the losing effort. Huntley plays the Knights of Columbus, also of Elgin Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Box Score: Huntley 92

Board of Education
The regular mooting of the Board of Education was held De¬ cember 9, 1964 at the ."school bu'lding.
The minutes ol Iho November meetings wore read and approved.
Mr. Marvin Birchficld was pres¬ ent to discus the issuing of Build¬ ing Bonds that were pa.ssed by election, November 21, 1964.
Mr. Bradley was also present t-" discuss the procedure and fu¬ ture development of the new building. At this time a motion was made and approved to pro- ccde on the new building program as authorized by the referendum of November 21, 1964.
Bids were opened on a water .softener for the hot water system, there not being any comparison bids on the plumbing and instal¬ lation, the matter was tabled.
A motion made and approved to pay the principal on the Build¬ ing Bonds in the amount of $30,000.00, and Interest in the amount of $6,192.50.
A motion made and approved to transfer TlBP^Se from the Edu¬ cational Fund to the Revohing Fund.
A motion made and approved to continue Kindergarten for the balance of the 1964 and 65 school year.
After struggling through Mr. Kelly's Miscellaneous Items the regular monthly bills were ap¬ proved for payment.

On Thursday evening. Decemit>cr 10th the regular meeting of the (irafton Township board of audit¬ ors rould nol be hold due to the lack of a quorum. The only mem¬ bers present, Clerk Richard Eng¬ strom and Supervisor Curtis. A group of spectators were present and Supervisor Curtis passed around an attendance sheet for those present to sign. The attend¬ ance sheet will be made a part of the regular minutes of the board.
Supen'isor Curtis had prepared a dcK!ket of tho order of business to be conducted at the meeting. He stated Ihat an inventory of property owned by Grafton Town¬ ship will be made. Grafton Town¬ ship Road Commissioner Louis Sachtner stated that the town¬ ship owned a tractor 16 years old. that he wished to .sell.
Supervi.sor Curtis stated that on Jan. 5. 1964 a truck carrying surplas food will come to Mc¬ Henry County with food for those on relief. The pickup place for Grafton Township is in Nunda Twp. Supervisor Curtis stated for details. An\onp falling into this e-Tt.ngerv may call him. He stated that ficre were apnroximately twelve relief cases in Grafton Township. ^
It was stated at the meeting that the eoimtv plans to fake ovei- the Huntley Crystal Lake l)lucktop in 1965 and that the 2 right angle curves now on this blacktop will be eliminated. Cur¬ tis stated that he plans to divide Grafton precinct 1 and 2 into smaller voting units. Grafton 2 will be divided into 3precincts and that he is working with Graf¬ ton 1 Huntley precinct to divide that precinct into either 2 or 3 separate precincts.
Mr. Curtis stated that he felt the Grafton Township garage was not the proper place to hold town¬ ship meetings and said that he had approached the Huntley vil¬ lage tward, to allow the township to u.se the Hi^ntley vilalge hall as a meeting place. He stated that he was also looking for a sub- stiute place to hold the township meetings in CrysUl Lake, but was unable to do so without pay¬ ing for the use of a building. state4_lb»tGrai|on township re¬ ported 73 Ixjurtljf claims for foxes of 335 in th^' entire McHenry County for the year 1964. This completed Supervisor Curtis' planned docket for the meeting. At this point in the meeting one of the spectators brough up the point that the Northwestern Rail¬ road had pi-ofested the road and bridge Jfimd. The spectator stated that at a previous meeting, that supervisor Mackct)en had stated that the railroad had not done this. The spectator was quite coti- cerned that the citizens did not have the "opportunity" to vote at tho annual town meeing on the road and bridge fund.
Supervisor Curtis stated that he would investigate this clabn as there was no quorum on "njursday night, the meeting was not opened or adjourned. A special meeting of the board was held on Friday [check) to approve the bilsl and auditor Curtis who resigned at the November election to become Grafton township supervisors. Mr. Herb Eggers of Hudllley was ap¬ pointed to fill the vacancy.
