HUNTLEY GETS NEW DOeTOR OFFICE OPEN THIS WEEK
Lutkeran Confirmation Class
16 Confirmed At Trinity
Si-xteen eighth graders were con¬ firmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church last Sunday, March 26 at tho 10:15 service. The students completed a two year course in the basic doctrins ofo the Christian religion as taught and practiced by the Missouri Synod Lutheran Chui-ch. Each of the students re¬ ceived a certificate of confirmation an dhad his picture taken. Those who were confirmed are:
Alan Borhart, Barbara Dam¬ myer, Carol Gruner, Arlene Hen¬ ning, Edwin Jaster, Lee Linnen¬ kohl, Sandra McPherson, Dian Miller, Sharon Miller, Linda Mursewick, Kathryn Pope, Donald Radloff, Susan Remus, Joan Was¬ serstrass. Wayne Workowski, and Sandra Zimmerman.

On Thursday, March • 30, the management course will conclude with Dr. Woelffer, Ocoonomowauc, Wis., sterility specialist and writer for Hoard's Dairyman and top vet¬ erinarian on why cows don't breed, will discuss "Herd Health and Man¬ agement."
Grren Hand Election Held
Green Hand election was held March 28. The officers are as fol¬ lows: President, Mike Silberhorn Vice President, Gary Borhart; Sec¬ retary, David Johnson; Treaslurer, Allen Heinz; Repwrter, Douglas Swanson; Sentinel, Dan Arsenue.
Four of these boys are going for F.F.A. officers. They are Gary Borhart, Mike Silberhorn, David Johnson and Douglas Swanson..

Huntley Gets S^e^r Doctor
Last Monday Dr. Hernandes moved into the medical center on the Algonquin blacktop east of Huntley. Dr. Hernandez was edu¬ cated in Havana, Cuba, and Mexico City. He interned at a hospital in Berwin, 111., and has had one year training at Cook County hospital near Chicago. He also has had a year of training at a mental hos¬ pital and has spent six months studying heart disease.
Dr. Hernandes is an American citizen. He is married to Mrs. Mar- cides Hernandes and has three chil¬ dren, all boys: Edward, 8, Gteorge, 7, and Michael, 3. At the present time. Dr. Hernandes is living in Villa Park, 111., but is looking for a place to live in Huntley, preferably with three bedrooms.
Dr. Hernandes says he is ready to provide service to anyone wlw asks for it. He has not established regular office hours as of yet, but says he will be in his ofiee all day until he finds how much, he is ac¬ tually needd by the people of Hunt¬ ley. At that time he will establish his hours.

Dr. Woelffer, Oconomowac, Wis., specialist and writer for Hoard's Dairyman will discuss "Herd Health and Management" with the Huntley farmers, TTiursday, March 30. This meeting will be the final meeting of the Farm Msmagcment course for adults at Huntley this year.
The course proved to be very worthwhile for the members of the class and Dr. Woelffer fits into the management problem by discuss¬ ing how to keep the dairy cow and other breeding animals in produc¬ tion.
Spa^ketti Dinner
Seventy-sLx adults and 24 chil¬ dren attended the American Le¬ gion Spaghetti inner last Saturday, March 25. The dinner included a salad, spagtietti, Italian bread, and Italian sausage, llie meal was pre¬ pared by Mr. and Mrs. PhU Ran¬ dazzo and was sorved by tbe Amov lean Legion Auxiliary and wives of the American Legion members.
This was the first dinner of its type served by the American Le¬ gion. It is not known yet whether or not tiiis will become an annual event.
REMINDER
All dogs must be tied up after April 1st, 1961.
N.F.O. Met In Huntley
A number of farmers fzx>m around the Huntley area attended a meeting last Friday night to learn of the N.F.O., the National Farmers Organizatinon. N.F.O. is an Inter-state organization of far¬ mers for the purpose of collective bai^aining. The organiza^fi, was started in 1955'5ri Coimn^] ta., and has been self supporting since that date.
Mr. Elmer Schlemmo of Corning, la., explained to the group the purpose of N.F.O., the authorities they have, and how they are set up for marketink. The N.F.O. has its own publication to keep its mem¬
bers informed of what tiieir leaders are doing. The organization is com¬ posed solely of farmers. No indiv¬ idual wiio does not ear the major port of his living through farm¬ ing can belong to this organization. Mr. Schlemme explained diat throui^ tbe organization, farmers Would be able to get a better price for their livestock, grain and dairy products. There is quite a bit of controversy on this subject wliidi the Huntley Farmside is not qual¬ ified to report on. The Annual PTA Bake Sale will take place Saturday, April 8, the School Board Election Day, at Heinemann's Hardware store from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. Donations of cash or bakery goods will be ap¬ preciated.
Attention Little Leaguers
Huntley will have a Little League again this year. Boys inter¬ ested, between the ages of 9 and 12, should get in touch with Mr. Don Enstrom, Huntley 3961, for further information in the next two weeks.
