This year Kenneth Fay, chief of Huntley's police department, got into the festivity along with Max Bungard and Eleen Pfeff Max played a hillbilly duck hunter while Eleen played as both his partner and as a hillbilly maid. The skit was divided into two sections. In the first section Max and Eleen interrupt the auction by setting up decoys. A shot is fired at a live duck. Chief Fay comes in and arrests the two would-bo duck hunters for illegal duck hunting. The two arc escort¬ ed off the stage. A few moments later Max reappears wearing a policeman's uniform.
