Two Die, Three Seriously Hurt in Collision
A collision on Huntley-C'aiiKMi- tcrsxillo Road, two miles cast of Huntley in McHenry (;V>unty, last Wcrinesday nisht, June 20, at 10 p.m. resulted in the death of two persons. Two others were seriously injured.
Mrs|. Dorothy Heisser, 46, and her son Ricky Allen Heisser, 13, of 1033 Ontario St., Oak Park are the dead. Mrs. Heisser was dead on arrival at the Memorial Hospital and Ricky died at 8 a.m. the fol¬ lowing day.
Mr. Harold Heisser, 58, driver of the car, was travelling east on the blacktop road when his car was hit broadside by a machine oiK-rated by Erwin H. Burg, 36,

Huntley l^ner League Wins
The Huntley Teener League won their first game of the season a- genst Hamshire last <^sk 11-6.
Hamshire pitcher ^^^ up 10 hits, 11 bases on balls, and had 8 stricke outs. The hits were by Rasmussen, Weber, Ackman, En¬ strom, Kahl, Bowman, and Fuji- moto.
Dennis Enstrom was the pitcher for Huntloy. He gave up 4 hits, f) bases on balls, and had 8 strike outs.
The next game will be against Burlington here on sunday, at 2 P.M. On Wedn^sday Huntley will play Burlington, there at 7 P.M.
Annual Red Cross Meeting
The Aiuiual Meeting of the Mc¬ Henry County Chapter of the American Red Cross was held at the Chapter Headquarters, June 19. The Nominating Committee, of , Mrs. Marjorie Frye, Chairman, Mrs Walter Lawrence and Arthur Desmond, proposed the slate of officers as follows: Fred T. F'^rris. Woodstock Chairman, Charles S Parker, Woodstock, Vice-Chair- man. Mrs. Margaret Jcnner, Crys¬ tal Lake. Secretary and Raymond Gathman, Woodstock, Treasurer. The same were unanimously elect¬ ed to serve for the term ending June 30, 1963.
The following reports were giv¬ en: In Water Safety a total of 1058 Cortimicates were issued; of these 763 were earned during the summer programs and 295 were issued at the Woodstock and Har¬ vard High School Pools during the rest of the year. All of these were issued by trained Red Cross In¬ structors and at present there are 25 Red Cross authorized Instruct¬ ors in McHenry County. All sup¬ plies, such as skill sheets and cer¬ tificates are furnished by the American Red Cross.
In First Aid a total of 425 Cer¬ tificates were issued in the year
