Finance Committee Roger Perley Al Boncosky and Lima Tessendorf. -NOTICE- The first football' lie will be this Friday at Richmond at 8 p.m. Board Meeting Everyone wa.s pre.sent for the Village Board mceti."p this month. Mayor Brill appointed Rudy, Enstrom, and Wasserstraus to meet with tho school board, to discu.ss ways of handling il. They also are tijing to contact .someone who uill do the guarding. The east side sewei- uas dis- cu.ssed. II was decided not to run a sewer up lo the Algoraiuin Black- lop at the pre.sent time because tlie i)coplc aren't interested in it and don't have water jiroblems af the present time. It was decided to wait until psrlng to start on the repairs in front of tho fire barn. The police were called together to discuss their problems. However, there were no big problems on their part. Card of Thanks The members of The Huntley Community Service Group wish to thank everyone who helped make the Community Party on Sept. Sth a success. Sfwcial thanks to Mr. Harold Lake and his musicans who donated there time for the dance; to Mr. Henry Roesslion of Gilberts, the square dance caller- to Howard Ruth, the able M.C: to Mrs. Henry Marlowe for the Clev¬ er awards; lo Mrs. Harry Hughes for fXJSters; to Mrs. Ward Plane and her welcome committee; Mrs. Wayne Zimmerman for public rel¬ ations and all the organizations who provided refreshments and supplies or who assisted in any way. This year several intere.sting and decorative displays were provided by the following: Deans Milk Co., Coils, Ins,, A,E. Robinson Co., Lio¬ ns Club, Huntley 4-H clubs. The Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Amer¬ ican Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary and The Hunlley Farm- side. All who set up or removed these displays should be compli¬ mented on a fine co-operative job.
