Huntley Planning Commission Recommends To Accept New Fence Ordinance
The regular monthly weeting of the Huntley Planning Commission uias called to order at 7:55 p.m. by Chairman Wilmer Rohluiing. Those members of the board present ware Ed Domagalski, Paul Mercer, and Darriok Franzen. Also present were Mayor Dhamer and Village Attorney Mike Kukla.
Mr. Domagalski moved to accept the minutes of the last meeting of June 8, 1992, as submitted. fir, Franzen seconded, motion carried.
The order of business was presented by Attorney Kukla which was to review and make a recommendation on the proposed Fence Ordinance as attached to these minutes as Exhibit A. Following review and discussion the following recommendation was made;
Mr. Franzen moved to recommend to accept the proposed Fence Ordinance with the addition of allowing decorative fence on corner of a lot
as long as not within two (2) feet of front lot line or side lot line. Said fencing shall not exceed ten (10) feet in length in either direction and it must be no more than three (3) feet in-height and shall consist of'707. open space. Mr. Domagalski seconded. Roll call vote was as follows; Mercer, nayi Domagalski, ayei Franzen, aye; Rohlwing, aye. There being three (3) ayes and one ( 1 ) nay, motion carried.
Following some general discussion, Mr. Franzen moved to adjourn, Mr. Domagalski seconded, motion carried, meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. /s/ Nancy L. Dvorak Secretary

Huntley Supermarket Owner Ries High With Red Baron -
Huntley Supermarket owner Al Allen was recently invited to take a ride with the Red Baron Squadron, sponsored by Red Baron Frozen Pizza.
The squadron of four 1941 Bi-wing Stearman planes was at Rockford Airport last week for an
airshow over the weekend. Red Baron had sent out tickets to various individuals who could use them for a free ride on July ISth. Between 20-25 people took free rides with the squadron last Thursday.
"Fantastic! You can't
believe-" says Allen of the aerial .experience. "When you go straight up, into a stall and then do a hammer head, straight down at the ground, it makes roller coasters a piece of cake! It was a thrilll!"
Mercer, Kohley Receive Jaycee Recognition

The Fox Valley Region held the Jaycee Summer Regional in Algonquin this month. During the awards ceremony two Huntley Jaycees were presented with Regional Honors.
Mark Mercer, Executive Vice President, uas presented with "Regional Officer of the Quarter." Mark received this honor for his outstanding leadership in the Huntley chapter. Throughout the past quarter Mark chaired 5 chapter projects, spearheaded the project
to erect a community Welcome sign and led the chapter in an entusiastic membership drive. Congratulations, Mark! Paula Kohley., one of the chapters most recent members, was given the Regional Award for "Jaycee of the Quarter." Even before Paula signed as a member she was quite active in lending her support. Paula's efforts are endless and the chapter is thrilled to have her as a new member. Congratulations, Paula, on your achievement!
The Huntley Jaycees always welcome new members from the community. If you would like to find out more about the Jaycees plan to join us at the next Jaycee meeting. We ars sponsoring a new member orientation on Thursday, August 6, at 7:00pm. The meeting will take place at the Huntley American Legion Hall.
