Andy Schadt Becomes Flight Instructor
Andy Schadt earned a Certified Flight Instructor's rating on June 21, 1991. He qualified for a Private Pilot's License in June 1988, an Instrument rating in August 1989, and a Commercial Pilot's License in August 1990.
Andy is working this summer as a flight instructor at Beloit Airport, Beloit, WI. He will be a senior at the University of Missouri-Rolla this fall majoring in elec¬ trical engineering. Andy is a 1988 graduate of Huntley High School.

Library Board Met
The Huntley Area Library Board met on July 17, 1991, at 7 p.m. at the Huntley Park District building. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Ruth, President. Present: Kohley, Sheets. In the absence of Crabill, Sheets served as secretary. Visitors: Dr. Douglas Bork and Dr. Kenneth Bork from the Huntley Dental Associates.
President Ruth invited the Drs. Bork to speak. They informed the board they are planning to be in their new offices, located next to the Ace Hardward Store in the Huntley Center, by September 1. Drendel entered the meeting. They asked for an extension of one month if the work schedule falls behind. After board discussion. President Ruth said this will not be a problem and asked only for their co-operation with any architects coming to look at the building. Dr. Bork said they would be happy to cooperate and expressed his appreciation for our good communication. Kohley moved, Drendel seconded, if necessary, the dentists would
be allowed to stay another month. Yeas: Kohley, Drendel, Sheets. Nays: none. Motion carried. Borhart entered the meeting.
Drendel moved, Borhart seconded to approve the minutes with an amendment of listing the standing committees, their members and alternates -

Sheets moved, Drendel seconded to publish the Statement of Receipts and Ditburtements - General Operating Fund July 1,1990
to June 30, 1991. Yeas: Sheets, Drendel, Borhart. Pass: Kohley. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Borhart secured an accounting firm to perform the audit for the district. Drendel moved. Sheets seconded to use McClure Inserra it Co. Chartered C.P.A. Yeas: Drendel, Sheets, Kohley, Borhart. Nays: none. Motion carried, ntta
Library Director Thompson reported over 360 cards have been isi Huntley patrons have been registered at the Crystal Lake Library.
Committee reports: Policies/By-Laws: Sfceets asked if there were any questions/comments regarding the tentative personnel policy given out at the June meeting. After brief discussion, it was decided to table the adoption of the policy until the entire board was present.
Kohley reported on the meeting with the representative from the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. Sheets reported
alternatives also to be investigated and suggested no action be taken at present.
Facility/Equipment: After discussion, it was determined by the board an architect will be needed to prepare drawings and present specifications for remodeling the purchased dental building. Sheets moved, Borhart seconded Thompson be given permission to solicit architects for purposes noted above. Ayes: Sheets, Borhart, Drendel, Kohley. Nays: none. Motion carried.
The hearing for the 1993 fiscal year Appropriation Budget was called to order at 8:00 p.m. After discussion, Borhart ipoved, Drendel seconded to close the hearing. Yeas: Borhart, Drendel, Kohley, Sheets. Nays: none. Motion carried.
Borhart moved. Sheets seconded to approve of the July 1992 to June 1993 Annual Appropriation Budget. Yeas: Borhart, Sheets, Drendel, Kohley. Nays: none. Motion carried.

Grafton Township Board Met
The regular monthly meeting of Town Board of Trustees of Grafton Township was held at the Grafton Township Building at 8:50pm, July 11, 1991.
The following officers were present: Brunschon, Trom, Ziller, Borhart.
The minutes of the previous meeting was presented and read. A motion was made by Ziller and seconded by Trom to approve said minutes. Roll call: all ayes; nays none.
The treasurer's report was presented and read. Supervisor Brunschon stated that he had changed said report, breaking income down in percentages as to the different funds. A motion was made by Ziller and seconded by Trom to approve said report. Roll call: all ayes; nays none.
A motion was made by Trom and seconded by Borhart to approve all bills as presented. Roll call: all ayes; nays none.
Assessor reported on general office work 'and working on farm parcels. '
Road Commissioner reported
on road and shop maintenance
Supervisor presented a comprehensive plan approved by planning comm. for $7,900.00 from the consulting firm of Associated Planners of Woodstock. A motion was made by Trom and seconded by Borhart that the Township adopt said plan. Ayes: Brunschon, Trom, Borhart; Ziller passed. Motion carried.
The Tax Levy of $303,000.00 was presented. A motion was made by Ziller and seconded by Trom that the Township approve said Levy. Roll call: all ayes; nays none.
Being no further business a motion was m&de by Trom and seconded by Ziller to adjourn at lOpm. Motion carried, /s/ Richard Enstrom
