Keith Lessner and Amy Jones head the all-star cast as Professor Harold Hill and Marian, the Librarian, in Huntley High School's presentation of the world- famous musical "The Music Man" to be presented May 7 & 8 at Spm in the Grade School Gym.

On Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8, at 8:00pm, Huntley High Schcwl proudly presents "The Music Man" in the grade school gym. Tickets are available now by calling the high school at 669-5171. Seating is reserved. Prices are $5 for adults and senoir citizens and $3 for students.
Don't miss this special event. High school plays are presented only every other year. Everyone has been working very hard and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Village Board Minutes of April 8,1993
The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held April 8, 1993 in the Board Room of the Village Hall and called to order by the President at 8:00 p.m.
Present were President Dhamer, Trustee Sheehan, Borowicz, Russ, Hoeft and Gow with Trustee Becker absent. Also attending were Village Attorney Kukla, Village Administrator Nelis, Village Engineer Schwegel, Police Chief Rossi and Building Inspector Ehrke.
President Dhamer, before proceeding, changed the Agenda bringing Item J - New Business, to follow the Treasurer's Report, being Item D.
He then called for action on the minutes as follows:
March 11, 1993 - Regular Meeting: Trustee Russ made a motion to approve as presented, seconded by Trustee Sheehan, roll noted all ayes and the motion carried.
March 25, 1993 - Special Meeting: Trustee Gow made a motion to also approve these minutes as presented, seconded by Trustee Hoeft, roll noted all ayes and the motion carried.
Help Lioness Help Others By Supporting Caramel Pop Day
Huntley Lioness Club will participate in Illinois Lioness Caramel Pop Day on May 7, 1993. They will be at various locations in Huntley. On Caramel Pop Day, thousands of Lioness throughout the state will give away caramel lollipops & accept donations. Donations are used to support programs that deal with vision and hearing problems. They hope you will participate with a donation to this project.
Trustee Gow commented that the March 25, 1993 Liquor Commission Meeting and the Committee of the Whole Meeting as set out on the Agenda for approval did not require action by the Board.
Next, the Bill Review was before the Trustees. After examination of same. Trustee Gow questioned the Line Item of Springhill Ford in the amount of $1300.00. Village Administrator Nelis explained this was for clutch replacement for the 1989, 350 truck. Trustee Borowicz felt an automatic transmis¬ sion might be a better choice in the next purchase. President Dhamer explained this truck came with standard transmission. Public Works Director Schwartz then entered the meeting adding
that this is the third replacement and truck has approximately 30,000 miles. Trustee Gow also questioned the various Village Inn charges. President Dhamer answered these were the result of meetings with Algonquin on boundary agreements. Thereafter, Trustee Gow made a motion that all bills including Baxter and Woodman be paid, seconded by Trustee Russ, and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
President Dhamer called for action on the submitted Treasurer's Report for March, 1993. In answer to Trustee Sheehan's question, Village Administrator Nelis advised

What Are Friends For?
John Hutsler thought he was spending his 40th birthday quietly - little did he know. A few of his close friends had the Assistant Fire Chief escorted in a limo (manure spreader) to the American Legion Hall, where 200 friends and relatives, some from as far away as Colorado and Missouri, enjoyed a fine celebration with him.
