Marching Redskins Show They're Champs
After performing at the football game Friday night, Huntley Redskins Marching Band left school at 5am Saturday, Oct. 30, to travel to Macomb, IL to compete in the Western Illinois University Marching Classic. Although the smallest band there, the Redskins won 2nd place. Drum Majors Amanda Yerke and Amy Hecht won the award for "Best of Class." Sunday the band again strut-their-stuff at the Pumpkin Festival Marching Competition,where the Marching Band and Color Guard both cinched the Best of Class titles. As one band mom said, "The Weekend From Hell Had Heavenly Results."

Frankenstein Contest Winner Announced
Tyler McMinn won the Carlton Cards "Frankenstein Lives On Spook Street" contest, sponsored by the Huntley Phannacy, during the month of October, McMinn's name was drawn from 50 ratries last Friday. Oct. 29
"Trick Or Treat" Farmside!
Despite the frigid temperatures, several preschool classes visited The Huntley Farmside office, and other Huntley businesses, for Trick-or-Treats this Halloween. The iinaginative and varied cosutmes, and the tricksters, were a delight to see.
