Huntley Board Committees To Meet
There will be a Committee of the Whole meeting of the Huntley Village Board members on Thursday, May 27, at 7pm at the Village Hall, 11704 Coral Street, Huntley.
On the agenda will be:
- Public Hearing for 93-94 Budget
- Jim Doyle-convenience store request for special use (old bakery)
- Garlieb/Hardy Annexation
Agreement
- John Spradlin Annexation Agreement
- Discussion of hiring outside consultants
- Consideration of Amendment to Zoning Ordinance for Satellite Dish

Planning Commission Considers New Homes, New Businesses, Satellites—
The regular monthly meeting of the Huntley Planning Commission was called to order at 7:35pm by Chairman Wilmer Rohlwing. Those members of the board present were Jack Daum, Ron Hahn and Ed Domagalski. Also present was Mayor Dhamer and Village Administrator Nelis.
Mr. Hahn moved to approve the minutes with one correction being that last month's minutes should have stated that the minutes were dispensed from reading and were approved. Mr. Domagalski seconded. Motion carried.
The first order of business was presented by Mr. Jim Benton. He plans to build a six.-unit building on each of Lots 6 & 11 on Timer Drive. It meets all zoning requirements and matches buildings presently there.
Mr. Daum moved to accept the plans as presented by Mr. Benton for two six-unit buildings on Lots 6 & 11 on Timer Drive. Mr. Hahn ¦ seconded. Upon roll call there were four (4) ayes and no (0) nays, motion carried.
The next order of business was presented by Mr. James Doyle. He has purchased the old bakery building on Rt. 47. He is planning a convenient- type store in the existing building. Conditions in the
May 5, 1993, memo from Administrator Nelis plan to be met. Also, the legal description showed five feet off. Mr. Doyle has offered to Quit Claim to adjoining owners to straighten out lot lines. A screening fence will be built on new lot line. He proposes the name of "Walk-in Pantry."
Mr. Schachtner entered the meeting at this time.
Mr. Hahn moved to approve the request for Special Use for carry out food service providing all conditions shown in May 5, 1993, memo are met. Also, that existing parking lot be paved by Sept. 15, 1993. Mr. Daum seconded. Upon roll call there were five (5) ayes and no (0) nays, motion carried.
The board was then asked to review an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance regarding Satellite dishes.
Mr. Schachtner moved to accept the Amendment to Zoning Ordinance for Satellite Antennae with corrections as noted in Administrator Nelis' copy. Mr. Domagalski seconded. There being five (5) ayes and no (0) nays, motion carried.
Mr. Schachtner said that Chuck Veach told him the Township Planning Commission would like to place someone from their board on Village's
