Huntley J-Teenz Sponsor Giving Tree
The newly-formed Huntley J-Teenz are sponsoring a "Giving Tree" to benefit Turning Point of McHenry County.
A Christmas tree is located in Huntley Supennarket with names of children from Turning Point who need your help to have a merry Christmas. Just go in and pick a name (or more) from the tree. On the second half of the tag, kindly fill in your name, address and phone number, and then deposit that half in tiie gift box under the tree. Purchase the child's wish, wrap the gift and put the name-tag on the gift. Drop the gifts off at the
Ventura Realty office at 11312 Rt.47, Huntley, entering on Mill St. If you would like the gift picked up, phone Mark at 669-1340 or Stephanie at 669-0530. The Huntley J-Teenz is a newly-formed branch of the Huntley Jaycees for teens ages 13-17-years-old. They currently boast 17 members and the number is growing. The next meeting will be Dec. 28 at 7pm at Huntley's Bowl-Hi Lanes. J-Teenz officers are president, Stephanie Cheney; vice- president, Laura Kohley; and secretary/treasurer, Kaytee Czaflewski.
Huntley Park To Survey Residents
The Huntley Park District recendy acquired the services of Ralph Burke Assoc, of Park Ridge as park planners to help develop a master plan. A survey will be mailed to residents within the next two
weeks. The park district is hoping to get some insight into what residents want in the line of programming and facilities, including parks and open space. A coupon is

Farmside Closes For Holiday, No Newspaper December 29
The Hundey Fannside newspaper will not distribute an issue for Dec. 29,1994. The next issue will be Jan. 5, 1995.
The Huntiey Farmside office will be closed the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, Dec. 24,1994 tiiroughJan. 1,1995. The office will reopen for business on Jan. 2, 1995. There is a mailbox outside the office doorat 11801 Main SL, which will be checked periodically, for anyone who wishes to drop off a press release.
The Farmside staff wishes everyone a wonderful holiday season!

Grafton Township Holds Meeting
The regular monthly meeting of the Grafton Township Board of Trustees was held December 8,1994 at the Grafton Township Building at 7:30pm.
The following officers were present: Ruth, Ottiey, Hansen, Kobza, Ziller, Zirk, and Hight.
Minutes of the November 10,1994 regular meeting were presented. The following revision was made: original - "tax notices have been sent to property owners advising of their assessment. Property owners have until November 20,1994 if tiiey choose to file a complaint" revised - "tax notices have been sent to
property owners advising of their assessment. Property owners have until November 21,1994 if tiiey choose to file a complaint" A motion was made by Ziller and seconded by Kobza to approve the minutes as revised. Voice vote: all aye, motion carried.
The treasurer's report was presented. After review and correction a motion was made by Ziller and seconded by Hansen to approve die report as presented. Voice vote: all aye, motion carried.
