Redskins Suffer Bitter Defeat By Jim Geary The Huntley Redskins gave away a game Friday nighL 7-6. The North Boone Vikings recovered four first-half Redskins fumbles, inside Huntley territory. The first fumble was recovered on the 15-yard line. The Vikings drove the ball to the 2-yard line where quarterback Tim Pann ran it in at the 4:58 marie of the first quarter. The extra point kick was good and North Boone led 7-0. The Vikings recovered the other three fumbles on the 15-, 30-, and 41-yard lines. With this type of field position, you would expect that the Redskins had been blown away by half time. NOT! The Huntley defense would not give in. They not only denied North Boone points, but they pushed them backwards. In the second half, the defense continued to deny the Vikings. In the fourth quarter. North Boone fumbled and Eric Olsen was there to grab it for the Redskins. Huntley drove the ball 36-yards and Ty Thompson took it in for the score. The Redskins lined up for the extra point try. The resolution set forth the following: A referendum will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1994. Permission is needed to issue $16.5 million in general obHgation bonds for the purpose of upgrading existing facilities and constructing a new school. District 158 schools are crowded. A new school will be constructed for the junior and senior high school students only. However, the board does not have sufficient funds to finance the project costs and it is necessary that the board be authorized to issue bonds to cover the costs. The Board of Education is asking voters the question below that will appear on the ballot. "Shall the Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District Number 158, McHenry and Kane Counties, Illinois be authorized to build and equip new junior-senior high school facilities on the Harmony Road School site and improve said site and repair and alter the present school facilities on die Huntley School Campus to adapt them to changed use fw Elementary School purposes and purchase of additional equipment relating thereto and to issue bonds of the District therefw to the sum or $16,500,000?"
