Dnring the past week most of ths .iolkiting hss be»n in the torritoiy between Flora and Louisville. Where producers understand clearly how •nch an organization is set up aud operates, very lliHe time U required to seenre their membership.
The pisn under which this associa¬ tion will operate does not interfere with the convenience enjoyed under the present plan of deliveriLS. as each member will deliver Ms poultry and eggs to a designsted receiving station at his preferred dellveo point—his own trading center. Froi^ these local delivery points, the pro¬ duce will be brought in to the District center at Flora over truck routes. Durlpg hot weather, trucka will make these routes three times weekly, in order to keep eggs moving quickly to market.
Membera deliver frequently or not. just as they wish—but the better the eggs are cared for al the farm and the more quickly they are delivered to these delivery polnta, the better they will grade. This means better pricee. ss membera will he paid according to the qnallty and grade of eggs deliver¬ ed.
Such an organisatloa to now oper¬ ating enceeeefally In aorthwestera Ohio. This orgaelsatioB has 1800 members. They deliver to 46 trad¬ ing ceatera in the territory. From these points, the praduce is tracked to the District center for grading and packing. For the last pool re¬ ported, July 1 to 16, the Association handled approximately ^ixty.0lgbt thouaand dosens of eggs, or over flve car loads. At the central plant, these egge ara graded into standard

14.2% Trades 22c
.7% Checks and crasks.... 22e The reader will note that over eighty-three per cent of.aU the egga made the two top grades. Membera are rewarded for good care of their eggs.
It shoald also be stated that the above pricea are aet to memhpra af¬ ter deducting one cent per dosen ttt l.e set aside as a reeerve which also belongs to the memben and to aeed for farther developlag the marketing end ot their bnstaees.
