Ausby E. Hendy, age 23, son of M. L. Ilendy, North Harter. Enlisted at St. Louis in U. S. navy; now witli V. S. S. Seminole at Wilmington, !North Carolina; commissioned en¬ sign, Nov. 11, 1918. Trained at Hamp¬ ton Roads, Va.
Harvey Dunnigan, age 2.1, son of Mr. and Mrs. Els Dunnigan, Flora. Enlisted as a volunteer In Co. "L" at Olney, July 27, 1917; now with army of occupation at Eppeldorf, Province of Luxemburg. Trained at Camp Logan, Houston, Texas.
Robert Rex McCollum, age 29, son «f Mrs. Tlios. J. McCollum, Louis¬ ville. Enlisted at Louisville, III., and assigned to tield hospital service. Trained at Camp Taylor, Ky., and failure to pass military examination mustered out of .service .Tan. 22, 1918.
Walter F. Dillman, age 19, son of D. W. and Loma Dillman, Sailor Springs. Enlisted at Louisville, III., and assigned to air service: trained at Milliken University. Mustered out Dec. 20, 1918.
Glenn O. HIssey, age 20, son of George H. HIssey, Clay City route. Enlisted at Flora, 111., and assigned to Infantry; promoted to sergeant and book-keeper for regiment; now sta¬ tioned at Camp Sherman, Ohio. Trained at Ft. Sheridan, III.. Camp
Custer, Mich., and Camp Slierman.
Pvt. Jos. Evans, age 22, son of Arthur and Cora Evans, Flora route. Enlisted at Flora, III.; trained at Camp Taylor. Ky., and assigned to the .Ifllst Infty.: now stationed In Bel¬ gium with army of ix?cupation.
Marlon L. I'etty, age 20. son of Joseph A. Petty, Flora. Enlisted at Olney, III., In Co. "V l.toth Infty.: trained as a bomb-thrower at Camp Logan, Houston, Tex.; took part In 47-day battle that ended wltli armis¬ tice, and escaped without a wound; now stationed with army of occupa¬ tion In Province of Luxemburg.
Estill M. Petty, age 22, son of Jos. A.Petty. Flora. Enlisted at VIncennes. Ind.; trained at Jefferson Harracks, Mo., and assigned to ambulance corps duty. Later promoted to drummer in band, and new stationed at Ft. Ontario, N. V., general hospital for returned overseas soldiers.
Pvt. Elswortli Coble, age 2rt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jaraes Coble, Flora. Enlisted at Flora, III., and trained at Camp Gordon, Ga.; assigned to Oth Infty., 16th Battalion, and now with American army at Humes. France.
A Banquet and Entertainment
A l)an(iuet will be given by the citi¬ zens of Flora, April .'Ultli, 1919, for the soldiers and sailors of Harter and Stanford townships, wiio have been discharged from service since January 1st, 1919. The l)an(iuet will be held in tlie Methodi.st church basement, under the auspices of the Cnited Cliurch Aids. Tickets on sale at the Cash Store, Prince's Drug Store, and Scudamore's Store.
A free entertainment will be fur¬ nisiied the soldiers and sailors to¬ gether witli tiielr friends following the banquet.
FREE:—Soldiers and sailors may secure their tickets from J. Bowman.
It Is tlie Intention of the citizens of this city to extend a welcome to all soldiers and sailors as they return home, If it takes two years to do it. Boys, your time Is coming.
