The past week has witneesed a fine Interest In the big question of "Who Will Be Queen ot Flora"? A total tor the week ot 22,800 votds Vara polled, and the leadership boa cbanged from Mlss 'VirglnU Mann *o llis* Martha Bowman, atthoagh they ara aeparated by onty 700 votes.
Mlss Ruey Stantord made a fine ahowlng, potting 240o votes and ad¬ vancing from seventh to fourth place. 'Votes were cast tor ten ,ot the young Udies during the weeki and several raeelved votes running Into tour tlg- nres. Mtss Marjorie Oolden still re¬ tains third place.

Eleven members of the Flora Ro¬ tary club motored to Bttlngham Wednesday and met with the club there that evening In a ttne tellow¬ ahlp meeting.
'The Flora boys took the RoUry wheel that ts being passed arou.id with' them and presented It to the Bttlngham bunch. The Olney boys brought the wheel to Flora.
The eleven who made the Eftlng¬ bam trip are: W. A. Karr, R. H. Orant, C. B. Hemphill, Bd Mann, F. L. Medley, L. W Dewhirst, N. W. Bowman, Rez W. Dale, R. B. Cami- bell, H. S. Williams, and B. D. Yeck.

A. L. Oibson purchased 6-roou bungalow on Washington avenue.
Bmle Golden purchased Hugh Lewis' 6-room cotUge of T. C. McKln¬ ney east of High School, tuming i\t acre tract tn northeast Ftora on de>l.
J. B. Frazler purchases O. C. Fitch eight-room residence on west North avenue.
These deals were made by J. M. Young, Flora real estate broker.
3. F. RICH'S MOTHER
DIES AT OBKK
J. F. Rich and famlfy were callod to Oeft last Sunday morning by the sudden death ot his mother, who passed away on Saturday night.
The mother, Mrs. Jacob Rich, Is survived by the hnsband and att of thetr seven children, stz boys ani one gtrl, and a number of grandchil¬ dren. She was 86 years and 18 days old.
Funersi services were held at the family home Holiday at 10:0il o'cloek. conducted by Blder D. Lo¬ gan, with Interment In the Bestow cemetery.
