A large attendance of intereated people Tlslted the B. A O. Dairy train Monday afterneon, SeTeral hundred farmers gathered at tbe train, while tbelr wives met at tbe Christian churcb. All the pupils from the graded school were dismissed In order to see tbe educational exhibit and to see the ds'ry cattle tbat were on the train. ''. is estimated that at least 1600 to 2000 people saw tbe exhibit during tts stay in Flora.
The grade heifer that was financed by the Flora Commercial Club was drawn by Oamette McNeil, who llTes with ber grandfather, W. F. Cun¬ ningham, southeast of Flora. Sbe chose a Jersey that is due to fresben shortly after tbe first of tbe year.
Three bulls were sold during the stop at Flora:—One Jersey to C. A. Mnrfin of Vernon; one Guernsey to Dr. Oore of Lawrenceville and one Jersey to Will Fry of Louisville. Mr. Fry's bull ts a yearling bull ot straight Island breeding, whose dam made a reeord of S48 pounds of but¬ ter fat as a five-year-old. Tbts bull was raised by J. C. Piper of Sumner, Illlnots.
Tbe first talk on tbe program was given by O. K. Qlvely Agricultural Agent of tbe B. A O. Railroad. Ha was followed by A. J. Glover, Kdltor- tal Manager of Hoards Dairyman.
