Vickers of Ea.st St. Louis a member t>t the Supreme ("ourt of Illinois in which he Is quoted as .saying that "Town¬ .ship lligh S('h(H)ls had Tiothlng to fear from the recent rulings of the Su¬ preme Court of Illinois relative to the act under which they were organized and that they were per¬ fectly safe to prweed."
This seems to be conclusive evi¬ dence that there will be a re-hearing on this matter or that the law. If de¬ fective, will 1)6 corrected by legisla¬ tive re-enactment at an early date.
The board of the Harter-Stanford scbool here, feel perfectly secure and are proceeding on the assurances of able attorneys and the courts In their uplnlons that there is nothing to fear, considering the manner of organization of this school.
The new building here Is almost completed and will be when lin¬ ished.and equipped one of the most up-to-date and complete in this section of the state, having all the facilites that may be found in the ordinary small colleKe or umversity.
