Cast in Ninth Count on Tuesday, With Clyde
Young Making Remarkable Run, Coming
From Fourth Place to Leadership
ALL THE LEADER^ CHANGE RELATIVE POSITIONS
In a deluge ot pink and white ballots In Tuesday night's count the Judges totaled nearly two million votes cast for the week In the Free Ford contest. All pink votes had to be In by that night and contestants and their friends saw to it that they were deposited.
The "Big Five" leaders all changed relative positions from the pUnes they beld last week. There Is a real race on between these five contest¬ ants and it is now a "toss-up" as to who will win. .; :¦¦'
ONLY SEVEN DAYS LEFT
In which to work and win, but theee last days will decide who drives the Free Ford on Monday Nov. 28th. We want to congratulate the contest¬ ants on the good-natured spirit manifested in the race, and also that they are determined that the vote speculator shall not gouge them by Inducements to buy coupons.
A IjAST WORD TO CONTESTANTS' FRIENDS
Those who are backing their favorite to win and who take the Jour¬ nal-Record or those who do not take the paper, will confer a favor on their contestant If they will turn their subscription money over to the contestant and take a receipt trom him or her tor the amount, for tbey hare receipt booka and are authorised by us to receive subscriptions. The contestants won't get any more votes by that method but they may re¬ ceive benefit another way,for to every contestant who fails to win one of the three prizes the Journal-Record will give a cash commission of 50 conts on each yearly new subscription, and 25 cents on each yearly renewal. This will be done so thnt those who have made a real etfort and failed to win one of the three prizes, will still get something for their time and efforts—and they deserve something. So kindly help your favorite contestant by letting them turn In your subscription.
Remember the contest closes Saturday, Nov. 26th at 9 p. m.
