Tonney In green and white, represented the Irish tn song, and later gave a lovely number from the American Indian in the costume ot an Indian maiden.
Tbe occasion for the meetings waa the vtsit ot Mrs. Oeorge Thomas Pal¬ mer, of Springfield, president of the Jlllnola Federation of Women's tHnbs. She is a woman fitted for her waited office in every reepect— pleasing in appearance and manner, lBte|ligent, interested, energetic, eonsclentious and sympathetic. She to giving her time and talent without stint to thto great work which to enrely Ood's work. She spoke an konr and all thoroughly enjoyed ev¬ ery word. She aaid:
