Dec. 1, 1984 Des Moines, Iowa The bride resided in Flora for pov- oral years and attended the city aehools. She ts a granddaughter of Mr. Bnd Mrs. Wm. Beard who live northeast ot Flora, and a niece of Mrs. Luse.

Last Friday night Qov. Len Small, his son. Leslie, his daughter, Mrs. A. B. IngUsh, and Al Bogh'fuhr of the state hlThway department, were mo¬ toring from Springfield to the Oov- emor's home at Kankakee, and when near Pontlac, another machine skida- ed Into tbe Small car, turning It over.
Governor Small was severely in¬ jured and one hip Is tn bad shape, necessitating his keeping In bed at home. Leslie sustained a dislocated shoulder. Mrs. Ingllsh was slightly in- lared.
