Brissenden, Clay county farmers *nd others met at tbe Flora city ,hall last Saturday afternoon .n masa meeting and organized a Lo>rden for president club. Mr. Brissendett called the moot¬ ing to order and was elected c'.iflr- man, with F. W. ReiU secreUry. They were afterward made the per-, manent officers of the club. ' Talks were made by F. H. Simp- eon, Col. R. Smith, H. W. 'Shriner, Jesse Harrison, WUoer A. Campbell, M. T. Israel and atle^. Clint Logan, 0'. o. Lewis and W. A. Campbell were appointed a com¬ mittee on «rganisation and their rc-J port was adopts^. It provided for a Lowden club, composed of tarmers and other'Lowden boosters, and for a vice president in each township. The resolutions committee was F. W. Rolts, Jeese Harrison and C. W. McVeigh. Pursuant Xo call issued by Leslie F. Brissenden, Clay county farmers *nd others met at tbe Flora city ,hall last Saturday afternoon .n masa meeting and organized a Lo>rden for president club.
Mr. Brissendett called the moot¬ ing to order and was elected c'.iflr- man, with F. W. ReiU secreUry. They were afterward made the per-, manent officers of the club. '
Talks were made by F. H. Simp- eon, Col. R. Smith, H. W. 'Shriner, Jesse Harrison, WUoer A. Campbell, M. T. Israel and atle^.
Clint Logan, 0'. o. Lewis and W. A. Campbell were appointed a com¬ mittee on «rganisation and their rc-J port was adopts^. It provided for a Lowden club, composed of tarmers and other'Lowden boosters, and for a vice president in each township.
The resolutions committee was F. W. Rolts, Jeese Harrison and C. W. McVeigh. Tfieir report was unanim¬ ously adopted.

Fr. Bckert, who for the past three years has been In charge of the parish at this point. During Fr. Fr. Bekert has been assigned to the parish at Ridgway, III., and will enter upon his duties at that point Immediately. He will be succeeded at Flora by Pr. Nouman from Belle¬ ville, who arrived here Ust Priday.
