He had been In poor health for ttgrna time, and had been living in ¦rookport, lit., wtth another danch¬ tor, Hra. Chas. Wallace, tor the past four months. He csme back for the holidays snd grew wnrSe eaeh 4a7. until desth relieved hta ot his sntterlng.
Faaeral service was held at the home on Sunday attemoon at l:tS, oaadscted by Rev. Duff of the Bap¬ tlat ehurch. Interment in Blmwood eemetery.'

Poter Lauderbaek, son of Thamas aad Jsne Lauderbaek was born in Seloto county, Ohio, April S 1848. Departed this life Jsnuary 11, 1924. aged 75 years. 8 months and 8 days. Re came to Illlnola when but ftve yaars of age, and has lived in Flora and vicinity moat ot hts life.
He was one of s family of 11 chil¬ dren. Two sisters and one brothor anrvive him,, namely: Mrs. Mary Williams, ot Texss, snd Mrs. Julia Williams and Mr. Jetf Lauderbaek, of Flora. He was thrice marrted. He was united In marriage to Miss Sarah Oelestia Fordyce March 29, 1886. She paseed to the great beyond No¬ vember 29, 1918. There were sis children of thts unton, one dted in Infancy.
There are 10 children left to monrn, Lee Lauderbaek, Mrs. Mary Davis. Mrs. Elsie Manning, ot Chi¬ cago; Lewis I.,auderback. ot Los Angeles, Cat., and Mrs. Mlssonri Wsllace. of Brookport. III.; Mrs. Lanra Thomas. Mrs. Hazel Orimes, John O.. Samuel D., and Wm. J., all ot Flora.
Also 19 grandchildren and three great grand-children and a host of other reltattves and frtends.

HAVB SOLD RESIDENCE
Hr. and Mrs. Fred Bennett have sold their residence property . on Sixth and Locust Streets to Mr. and Urs. C. C. Ripley, the transaction was closed Wednesday for $8900. Ifr. and Mrs. Bennet will probably move to Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Ben¬ nett is tn the railroad mall service and hts layover is at Cincinnati.
The RIpleys have made their Main atreet property, which ia known as the P. P. Brown property, their home tor several years, but ths lafge home seemed too much room for their needs and they decided upon a smaller home.

Rev. James C. Reeser of Des Moines. Iowa, filled the pulpit at the Flora Christlsn church lsst Sunday morntng and eventng. He made a food impression on the congrega¬ tion and the official board snd pul¬ pit commtttee extended htm a unani¬ mous call to the pastorate, effective within 80 days.

Mr. Oaddis will be on the alert for something thst wtll sdd to this new business and make it worth while to visit his store.
