Delightful in every detaU was the annual Christmas party of the meni- b«>B of the Rest AwhUe Club, Wed¬ nesday evening, held at the home of Mrs. W. E. Wood, 116 Bast Fifth street. Mrs. Wcod, assisted by ber daughters, Mrs. Fred Bennett and Miss Dorothy Wood, charmingly en¬ tertained the club m'embers, all were prtMBt. The Yuletlde color scheme waa carried out In tue effective deco¬ rations. Upon the arrival of the gueata a delicious cabaret luncheon ' in two courses was served. Between the courses clever couplets wens read. Tbe place cards were dainty handpainted booklets containing the club song; composed by Mrs. Douglaa Naney.
L,ovely Christmas presents were exchanged among the members and thia provided many interesting re¬ marks and was a delightful feature of the evening's ple'asure.
Following these events, the club president, Mrs. Jay Valbert, took (Charge of tbe business session and new officers, were chosen for tbe en¬ suing year, as follows: President, Mrs. Henry Inrin; Secretary, Mrs. H. W. Shriner.

The young people's or^ranlzations of the Flora Protestant churches are to have a union meeting at the Flora Christian church next Sunday eve¬ ning at 6:30 o'clock. The meeting will be held in tbe chur-Va basemant. It will begin on time and dismiss not later than 7:15, so that all who wish to attend night church services at the different churches, will have ample time to do so.
A program of music and devotions will be given and it is hoped to or¬ ganise the younar people into a city- wide organisation for a continuance of union meetings during 1927.
SANTA CLAUS MONTH
December is Santa Claus' month and the patron saint of the children ia the pojpular real or imaginative being who'rules in thonght, as gifts tor. relatives and friends are either being made or purchased. Remem¬ brances bring good cheer and all should get into the Santa Claus spirit and spread the sunshine uf friendship and love toward those nearest and dearest .

THF UNITED BRETHREN rHURiTI WILL BE DEDICATED SUNDAY, JANUARY a.
The United Brethren church of Flora, is now nearing completion, the building will be a gem ot beauty, being well equipped with all modern equipment and will be one among the best churches I nthe city.
There will be a dedication program announced later for a week's service' each night, leading up to the Sunday j of the Dedication at which time the pastors of the other cnurches ot our: city will preach each night. Bishop { H. H. Font, D. D. of Indianapolis will; officiate at the Dedication program later.
The Woman's- Missionary Society of the Christian churoh 'met Dec. 1st in the social room ot the church. The subject "The Sprrlt of Christ¬ mas." After the usual business presided over by the president the leader Mrs. Hazel Meyer took cliarge ot fhe devotional and special pre¬ pared program. Marjorle Burns gave a reading and Mrs. Falley a papor on the flrst Thanksgiving. The social hour was enjoyed by all.
